My favorite hotel in Bangkok. Excellent location, super clean, not too big, fabulous design and super quiet. The staff are amazing really top notch.

We chose to stay at the Okura Prestige on our way out and back to Ko Samui for its location (easy access from and to the airport by ALR/BTS sky rail) and to relax by its infinity pool looking over Sukhumvit. We were amazed and delighted by every aspect of the hotel and its staff. The staff is very friendly and caring, always anticipating your needs, but respecting your privacy. Every aspect of the hotel and its services has been carefully designed to exceed your expectations. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom with its sliding doors and walk in shower is mind blowing. I loved the Toto washlet WC :) You control every aspect of your room via a small tablet on your bedside, but still have switches if you prefer. You'll find power outlets at the head of the bed (yes!) and around the room. On the tech side, there is an ethernet, USB and HDMI ports close to the television. I could go on and on… We tried both the Yamazato (japanese) and Up and Above restaurants, and we delighted by the quality and service. The breakfast buffet is amazing. I would have a hard time to find something they don't offer. Fresh, colourful and tasty. The views are breathtaking… We loved every aspect of our two stays at the Okura Prestige, and look forward staying there next time we transit in Bangkok.

I would like a better, wider spread for breakfast as I have egg allergy and I am also lactose intolerant. I find the breakfast spread very good at Shangrila Riverside in Bangkok

I did not like the breakfast spread as I do not eat a lot of things. I think there is a good spread of Japanese foods but not Asian.
