Firstly, be careful parking outside to check in as some spots are all night and others are very short term. Wardens were about. Check in was smooth and the advice we were given regarding a good restaurant to eat at was excellent. The room was very clean and fans were readily available to help cool it down as it was warm when we visited. Beds very comfortable. The hotel is very well located for walking into the older part of the town. Which is a very clean lovely town and we will revisit when we stop over again to experience more of it.

Staff was friendly and made an effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Excellent breakfast. Standard room was small but clean and comfortable. We were offered free mini bar which was a nice touch. Very nice garden and terrace in back. Good value for the money... one of the nicer places we’ve stayed in this price range.
Hotel was in a good location, but along a busy street. No air conditioning meant we had to keep the windows open and listen to traffic. Recommend asking for a room with garden view. 20 CHF for breakfast is steep but everything is just expensive in Basel.

“The staff are very friendly & helpful. Lovely sitting in the garden area. The free bar fridge drinks were a lovely extra, also the local transport card. A very nice Hotel. Thankyou!”
