Hanoi Prime Center Hotel

The location

Location The location of the hotel is just perfect. You are right within the wonderfully traditional Old Quarter bursting with life, and you can start exploring the busy streets and people going about their daily lives on foot at once. Old Quarter is where most of Hanoi's sights are and you can reach any point with some walking or by grabbing a cheap scooter directly at the street to save time. There is also a hop-on-hop-off sightseeing bus in the Old Quarter, which circles around all the important sights, should the scooter be too adventurous for you. Walking through the Old Quarter is fun though and while it might seem impossible first to pass the streets you will soon find out that if you just constantly move, all of the busy traffic will just move around you like a shoal of fish. Hotel The hotel itself is clean and safe. I stayed in the Deluxe Room with a huge bed and windows to the front side of the hotel, while you can also get the Superior Room, which is located to the backside of the hotel. I haven't had any problems with the noise though and enjoyed the panoramic view. There is air-conditioning, the bathroom is clean and the room comes with a small mini-bar with super cheap beverages like water, soft drinks and beer, so you can refresh yourself immediately after checking in. Staff The staff has been super friendly, warm-hearted and helpful at all times. For 16 USD their driver picked me up at the airport around midnight and safely drove me to the hotel. They also help you book trips like a daytrip to Ha Long Bay (I paid around 45 USD for everything: pickup from the hotel, bus fare, entry, ferry ticket, kayaking, exploring a cave and an included lunch on the ferry) I enjoyed my stay at Hanoi Prime Center Hotel.
