Avantatges: We were only there for an overnight after a long haul flight, but found the hotel to be comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff were considerate and helpful when we encountered a problem with our room.
Desavantatges: The first room we were allocated had a pungent smell which meant we simply couldn't stay in it. We were then moved next door, only to find that once the window had been closed the same smell built up in the room. We only discovered this after an evening in the bar with our son, so were eventually moved at 11.30pm to an upgraded room. All a bit inconvenient, but the problem was well handled by staff and we eventually got a comfortable night's sleep.

Desavantatges: The fire alarms went off ~5 times over the 5 days we were there. The 1st night at midnight, the 3rd night at 8 PM, 1 AM, and again at 4 AM. It was a nightmare....

Desavantatges: There were still trash in the restroom from the previous lodgers, not to mention there were used feminine products that were in the bin that smelled like something died in there. The lights on the walls were falling apart from the wall. The bathroom was the worst, small space, toliet that barely flushed, and the showers were old. Overall, I would give one star, only cause I have to.

Desavantatges: The tub was dirty and the bed was very very uncomfortable. They put me in a room with two twin beds (not sure why) and I have never slept on beds that small, it was the worse sleep I have ever had, I slept on cots and had a better sleep.

Avantatges: The hotel is faurly near to kings cross and other surrounding convenient shops, buses and tube that are near to it. Its about a ten to 15 minute walk away, ehich for most people will be ok. Easy walk to get there. (I guess for those with mobility issues this may be a slight issue - if you have problems you may want to choose another one right next to Kings Cross.)
Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant clean. The downstairs customer toilets are in the basement and severely aged, weirdly there were flies everywhere there too but you only need to use those toilets if you haven't checked in yet and desperately need the loo, so not too much an issue.
The rooms are dated, this is an old hotel that has not been updated, artex walls and wooden desks but nothing wrong with that. My room, 230 was clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice. All rooms here have a bath and a showerhead too. Clean towels. It was all old fashioned looking but not worn out.
Lovely square behind the hotel with a playground and basketball court if you wish to relax.
Cheap value stay with basic conveniences but it is not the most peaceful for sleeping at all.

Desavantatges: Couldn't find any fault. Nothing I didn't like. Staff were helpful and made themselves available if needed. .travelodge here better than some others I have stayed in

Avantatges: The hotel is faurly near to kings cross and other surrounding convenient shops, buses and tube that are near to it. Its about a ten to 15 minute walk away, ehich for most people will be ok. Easy walk to get there. (I guess for those with mobility issues this may be a slight issue - if you have problems you may want to choose another one right next to Kings Cross.)
Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant clean. The downstairs customer toilets are in the basement and severely aged, weirdly there were flies everywhere there too but you only need to use those toilets if you haven't checked in yet and desperately need the loo, so not too much an issue.
The rooms are dated, this is an old hotel that has not been updated, artex walls and wooden desks but nothing wrong with that. My room, 230 was clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice. All rooms here have a bath and a showerhead too. Clean towels. It was all old fashioned looking but not worn out.
Lovely square behind the hotel with a playground and basketball court if you wish to relax.
Cheap value stay with basic conveniences but it is not the most peaceful for sleeping at all.
Desavantatges: The room was hot because you are entirely unable to open the windows, an old plastic alarmed cable limits the opening of them so you could not even open them a crack for fresh air. At least it did in my room. All hotel room windows are normally alarmed but these were ridiculously restricted.
The plug sockets were also on the opposite end of tge room to thge bed. A fan was provided but was not very effective due to not being able to stretch it far enough to reach the bed.
The worst problem as you may expect was traffic noise. This severely ruined my stay. The back of the hotel i noticed however, backs on to a lovely square called Granville Square. This was a peaceful haven, and the back rooms benefitted from this. Ask for a back room and try to check in early if possible, however there are a limited number of back ones.
Also, luggage is only stored in the back office. You may struggle if you arrive after 1 to store your luggage there because there isnbt much room

Avantatges: The reception were delightful and helpful! They kindly moved me to a quiet room off the main road at my request. The room itself was basic and clean, but that's all I wanted and the price was right for it! My friends were staying at the Rosewood for our friends Wedding. I don't see the point in spending hundreds of pounds when you are hardly in the hotel room anyway.

Desavantatges: I didn't like not having a bath.
But for $100.00 per night for a few days, I survived this first world problem!

Avantatges: The room was small but functional. The concierge service and front desk were excellent, prompt and courteous and very, very helpful. Maid service was timely and appropriate.
Breakfast buffet was excellent and filled with numerous choices and always very fresh.
Dinner menu was limited but all choices were appetizing and enjoyed.

Desavantatges: The wifi service was hard to sign on, if you had good virus protection and was OPEN and therefore not secure.
However, the hotel staff helped me a great deal in learning the necessary technique to sign on, and helped me several times with it thereafter.
I would have preferred a password protected and secure wifi service which surprisingly was available at several local restaurants.

Avantatges: Buena ubicación en un buen vecindario. Rodeado de un montón de pequeñas tiendas, restaurantes, y tiendas de comestibles. El personal es muy amable y lleno de buenos consejos.
Desavantatges: Calidad wifi era esporádico. A veces muy buena, a veces inexistente. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y oscuras.

Desavantatges: Don't stay here if you're a single girl traveling. The door barely has a lock and the room was freezing. It looked nothing like the photo they put me in the basement. I ended up not even staying here and switching hotels it made me feel so uncomfortable.
