Nos registramos durante la hora feliz después de un largo viaje en coche y fue refrescante tomar un aperitivo con una bebida para adultos. Avantatges: What a delight! This is a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Happy hour, with complimentary drinks and snacks, is a great idea, where everyone congregates to meet one another. The homemade hummus and pita bread on 1 night and cheese and meats selection on another were a delight. Breakfasts were Devine with homemade blueberry pancakes & maple syrup, fresh home baked cakes and great sharing omelette. Beach passes along with beach chairs are supplied - what a great idea. What a lucky find! It we are visiting the area again, we will be sure to stay. Thank you for a great stay.

Avantatges: Everyone who worked there was super helpful, friendly and warm. They really do have a bed-and-breakfast attitude. Rooms are stylishly decorated and seem recently remodeled, and the bed was very comfortable. Robes were a nice touch! Breakfast room looks like a cute little cafe, and breakfast goodies were homemade and delicious. Great coffee. Happy hour with homemade appetizers in a pretty setting with a fountain is so welcoming that people actually hang out and talk to each other. Hot tub is well-maintained. Quiet street with redwoods is much nicer to come “home” to than a smoke-filled casino! Location is about halfway between the beach and the casinos.
Desavantatges: Manage your expectations. You won’t have a room with a balcony or a view of the lake or a pool.

Avantatges: Very nice place. Away from the main area but within easy walking distance down to the marina. Rooms were nice and good sized with an overhead fan and another fan in closet. Nice little outdoor patio with o bistro table and chairs overlooking the nice grassy grounds with hammocks, lawn games and a bbq area with 3 bbqs to use. The continental breakfast was great and a large gathering room with table to eat or play games. The gal on staff was super sweet and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Also dog friendly with no weight restrictions.

Avantatges: The rooms have just been renevated. It's a small hotel. They were so nice. Actually called us to tell us the room was ready early. It is close to everything. The staff will help with recommendations from place to visit, things to do and yummy food, based on your preferences.
Desavantatges: A nice bath mat would be appreciated on the stone floor. Hooks to hang up things in the bathroom. Another chair in the room would be nice.

The little "extras" made the place even better such as thick towels, name brand toilet paper, luxurious bath products, water and snacks, Keurig in the room with creamer and sweetener, etc.
Desavantatges: We thought everything was pretty great. If I had one complaint, it would be that we didn't feel that the pillows were very comfortable but that could be a matter of preference.

We sat under the pines with a glass of wine while juice and crackers were served to the two children. The children identified this experience as much better than the house rented near Homewood! Top experience for hospitality!
Desavantatges: Identified as a B&B, it was a bit more like a motel accommodation but all the hospitality of a B&B was present and accounted for - and deeply appreciated.

Avantatges: My girlfriend and I had the best time here. The property is close to the town centre (10-15 min walk or less than 5 min drive) and to three of the best restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. Breakfast is simply amazing, with Linda making something new and fresh everyday. Don’t miss the happy hour between 5 and 6 pm and enjoy the company of Johan and Linda. Great, great, great. Bellissimo!

Desavantatges: Although location was central to many amenities, restaurants and the lake, there was a concert near by that evening that went late and it was loud (we stayed a Saturday night). There was no closet in the room but for one night I guess it was fine.

Avantatges: The manager or whomever the lady is, is the sweetest BEST hostess ever. Shes either super sweet or the best salesperson ever. Amazing. Location was solid and overall the room wasn't bas.
Desavantatges: For the price, there were a few imperfections. The walls are pretty thin, so we could hear every foot step above us and around us. It was very hard to get a good night sleep. Our sink clogged a bit. No iron or ironing board.

Avantatges: I think the thing I liked most was the location. While the Gondola portion of Heavenly is not my most favorite, staying at the villas is just so convienent. Once you park you never really have to leave. Supermarket is across the street, cinemas are on site, so many good restaurants are also on site, there’s so much to do within walking distance. It’s really what sold me.
Secondly, since there are so many nice places that offer the same close proximity of the gondola is the villa itself. We had plenty of room for our party of 7. We cooked most nights, then frequented the pool area. So relaxing. And very spacious. Not all accommodations can offer the room to stretch out with 7 persons in a room.
Desavantatges: Maybe communications on what was going on activities wise. For instance I didn’t even know there was a ski check until the end of my stay, it could have made my stay so much easier by checking ski equipment rather than lugging it up to the room each day.

Avantatges: The hotel was comfortable and well furnished with unique features such as heated flooring in the marble bathroom, a gas fireplace, and dual-head showers. Its location is literally steps from the shores of Lake Tahoe--most of the rooms have views--and walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and casinos was ideal. Check in and check out was swift and pleasant. Room service throughout the day--delivery staff were lovely--was wonderful and the restaurants menu was good overall and the cocktails are fantastic.
Desavantatges: Sadly, hotel missed the small details hotels in their category usually do not miss. Upon check in, we were greeted and told that we would be escorted to our room but that staff member was interrupted by another pair and walked away to escort them all the way to the restaurant instead so we made our way to our room as we had limited time to get dinner and dressed before our evening event. Once in the room, walls were scuffed, carpets were dirty, an odd pill was on the carpet--eeek, and the makeup mirror's light didn't work. Sadly, the restaurant patio, while stunning at first glance, had random straws and picks strewn about the pavers and some chairs at the tables around ours had bits of food on them, which was odd.

Avantatges: So many thoughtful touches throughout the common areas and the room. The design is simply amazing, yet functional too. Bed was comfy, and there was plenty of room to spread our camping/hiking gear in the room (we went backpacking the next day). Breakfast was solid, the fire pits are wonderful (s’mores at night!) and the bar/lounge was perfect for getting some work done in the afternoon. Location is only a 10 minute walk from the village.

Avantatges: Room was quiet, excellent linens and that heated seat! We had done our homework so we knew what to expect – concrete floors, minimal style, no coffee in the room- so we’re not shocked. Great staff-friendly and accommodating with a smile. Great extra touches like fresh roses in little jars here in there. The pool and the hot tub were clean and welcoming after a long day. Quiet location with lots of pine trees.
Desavantatges: So crowded at breakfast and S’mores we only went once. Several large groups were there and they took over the small lobby/ breakfast area and fire pit in the evening. Couldn’t even squeeze in to roast a marshmallow as they had surrounded the fire pits and made it their own personal party. At a small boutique hotel this is problematic for all other guests. Not sure what solution is but we missed out on these things.

Avantatges: La recepción me envió un mensaje el día de mi llegada para informarme de que mi habitación puede no estar lista a tiempo, e incluso me ayudó con las condiciones de la carretera. A la llegada, todavía nos dieron una habitación a tiempo, y la recepcionista fue muy amable y servicial.
¡la habitación era grande y cómoda e incluso tenía una chimenea! Al lado de la piscina y la bañera de hidromasaje, ofrecían café, té y cacao caliente gratis en el vestíbulo. Definitivamente notó muchas parejas, pero también familias con niños pequeños.
Estaba lejos de la zona principal del centro (a 3 minutos en coche), lo que significaba que era agradable y tranquilo, pero aún así fácilmente accesible. ¡no hay nada mejor que despertarse con esa magnífica vista al lago!

El estacionamiento se estaba rehaciendo mientras estábamos allí, así que tuvimos que rotar en el lugar donde estacionamos, pero no fue un gran problema

Desavantatges: 1) The carpet in the room looked quite clean. However, after a few minutes of playing on it, the knees of our baby became dark. I do not know if it is a carpet color or dirt, but it was hard to wash off. 2) Overpriced (as everything in Tahoe in summer). 3) The breakfast area is too small. I suggest adding more tables outside. The breakfast itself is average.

Avantatges: Nice convenient stay in Lake Tahoe. Friendly staff and good overall experience in the resort. Crib was provided upon request. Big rooms. Good as a base camp to explore the lake.
Desavantatges: Eating area and materials in the room were a bit poor (plastic cutlery and dishes). Room was dated and would benefit from an entire redistribution, as the bathroom was in the middle of the room. Shower area was rather uncomfortable as it had a hot-tub that only could be used as a shower. Valet parking (free) seemed a bit redundant; I could have parked my car by myself if provided the keys to the carpark.

La ducha necesitaba urgentemente remodelar las baldosas literalmente con moho. Las camas necesitaban almohadas nuevas y una manta/colcha actualizada. Sinceramente, tenía miedo de subir. Todo esto por $188/noche. ¡Guau!

Desavantatges: Gap under front door letting cold air in, heater system very inefficient (took a whole day to get to 68 degrees), smelled like any killer spray when we checked in the room, one 2'x2' section on the bedroom floor was always warm, small 2'x2' section in front of the bathroom sink stays warm but not in the area where you would stand while using the sink (both as if there was a heated floor but was placed in the wrong area), couch cushions were had as a rock, just needs to be updated if the want to charge the price they charge per night. We were there from 12/31/15-1/3/16, premium because of New Years but not with the $200 per night. Also, something in the room made my skin break out in bumps and hives, maybe the laundry detergent they use? I don't know. I will not be coming back here again.

Avantatges: It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were bigger than I expected and the play area had a BBQ and a net for badminton and volleyball which the kids loved. They also had a small selection of videos in the lobby. It was within walking distance of the casinos, shopping and the lake.
Desavantatges: It was a little noisy with traffic, but the hotel itself was very quiet.

I had booked it for 2 days but was very sick when I got there, (Bad cold) so I asked the lady at the front deck, if I can just stay one night and she said yes, they will just charge me one night. Avantatges: Service by staff from the cleaning staff to the concierge to the valets to the reception staff was impeccable. We were amazed by their politeness and welcoming natures.
Desavantatges: Forced valet parking did add an extra 90 dollars to our bill which we hadn’t previously factored in .. we would happily park our own car.

Avantatges: If you have a family, this would be a fairly nice place to stay. The rooms and amenities were nice. The location was very good.
Desavantatges: We were there on our honeymoon, and the facility didn't really have anything aimed at couples. Families are very nice, but we were hoping for something a bit more romantic. There wasn't food/bar service at the pool, which was a deterrent from coming back. We planned on spending lots of time at the pool, and ended up leaving the property often in order to find places to enjoy a romantic meal and conversation.

Desavantatges: The room for luggage in the room was very limited as was the drawer space.... limited drawers. There was not even a luggage rack provided. We only had two large suitcases and even with that, it was difficult to find a space where you could easy access to your clothing on a daily basis. The closet space was decent for hanging purposes and placement of shoes, but you could not fit a large suitcase in the closet due to permanent racks. Also, the distance from our room to the lobby and main entrance was extensive...…… very long walk to and from.

Desavantatges: Aunque la habitación tenía una cocina completa, casi no tenía equipo ni utensilios y no había lugar para sentarse a comer. Para mejorar esto se necesitaría muy poca inversión. Nuestra habitación estaba en el primer piso y podíamos oír los pasos desde la habitación de arriba. ¡por suerte nuestros vecinos de arriba eran tranquilos!

Desavantatges: My husband and I booked a pool side suit. But when we arrived there the front desk associate told us we were booked in a different room. And said that “there was nothing he could do for us” We were on our honeymoon and this ruined it. We were put in a tiny room with a tiny bath room. The rooms were loud. Maid service never gave us any new towels. I wish I never booked here. Now I will never get that time back for our honeymoon.

Desavantatges: Como un claro truco, sólo ofrecen servicio de aparcamiento a $19/día. La única otra opción que ofrecen es el aparcamiento a 2 manzanas de distancia en el aparcamiento público. También se están involucrando en la práctica, desafortunadamente común, de ser poco ingeniosos con la tarifa de la habitación en una tarifa de resort de $24 por noche que al parecer sube a $34 por noche en agosto de 2019.

Avantatges: Gran ubicación y precio. Muy limpio y la piscina cubierta es estupenda para los niños en invierno. El desayuno gratuito era bueno para toda la familia. Habitación perfecta con una cama de matrimonio extragrande en el dormitorio, sofá cama en la sala de estar para los niños. Dos lavabos en la habitación hicieron fácil que todo el mundo se preparase por la mañana.
Desavantatges: La televisión de la sala de estar no funcionaba, se ofrecieron a enviar a alguien para que lo arreglara.
El lunes el desayuno estaba muy lleno y la mitad del comedor estaba cerrado, así que tuvimos que esperar varios minutos para una mesa abierta.

Avantatges: Great location! Close to tons of restaurants, casinos, Stateline, and hiking trails. The lobby is very nice and has a large fireplace. Rooms are a little dated but very large with two TVs, a mini fridge, and microwave. Showers have great water pressure. Indoor pool and hot tub.
Desavantatges: The man who checked us in was not friendly and left a bad first impression. The man who runs the valet parking however was hilarious and very helpful. Valet parking required at the hotel and they charge $19 per night. Took over 30 minutes to retrieve our car the day we checked out. The valet workers did their very best to hurry and get the cars, however obviously at checkout time is when they are busiest. I wouldn’t mind the wait if the valet was optional, however we were required to have it and if anything it was an inconvenience. Breakfast is “free” but not really because you pay a resort fee daily for decent food that I’ve had similar to at the Best Western. Also a long line for breakfast in the morning. WiFi was also included in the resort fee however it was terribly slow. Although there are great things about this hotel, overall I feel as if I didn’t get the value for my money. I would try other hotels along this strip because the location is great!

Desavantatges: No one greeted unless we asked a question or said hello. And also was double charged for stay which didn't clear until I called. They assured me it would go off my card in a cpl days but actually went thru as a transaction. Therefore was charged by bank nsf fee. Luckily my bank waived it but it was an inconvenient process.
