Bed was comfortable.

Very uncomfortable lounge “beanbags” by the pool, service was poor overall, with a few exceptions, the communication (WhatsApp suggested by them) using texts was not good/working for dinner reservations or room service. Coordinating transportation was great the first time only, the last time we waited 45 minutes for the driver to take us to the airport (we were a bit early, but we watched him run around doing odd errands instead of taking us early). Evidently there was another couple he was waiting on to take to town. After dropping them off in town (another 10-15 minutes drive) he said there was a problem and we needed another pick up. WE WENT BACK TO THE RESORT AND GOT YET ANOTHER COUPLE!!! At this point I was completely stressed about missing my flight. Once we arrived at the airport I was trying to grab my bags and get to security, and the driver took a call from the hotel wanting more money....seriously! I had booked and paid for ROUND TRIP!!! I told him I would not discuss it right then, I owed no more money, and have them call me after I’m through security. They never did. I saw the couple that rode with us on the “last” ride to the airport, and they were disappointed as they paid for a private transfer and were surprised we rode with them. During the drive from the resort to town back to the resort then to the airport, the driver took about 10 calls... I also watched him bicker with other staff in the reception area prior to leaving. This is an example of the overall running of the property. It is NOT close to town (you need a ride to town) and although pretty, there is no attention paid to details in the service area. There is an effort, but it falls way way short.
