“With much care of personnel, we felt right at home in this beautiful old building located a stones throw away from the Royal Palace and Gran Via shopping street. Large, well appointed rooms, some unfortunately with a view of the next door (close at 30 meters?) office. Comfortable beds and chairs, including a sofa which is a nice addition when you are on a multiple day visit. Beautiful bathroom with excellent bath products. Staff deserves all compliments, as they go out of their way to facilitate your every wish. Particularly the reception, concierge and porters were always extremely attentive even with "not every day" requests. Beautiful breakfast area, with much choice. Lovely rooftop terrace with a small bar area. for champagne with a view. Gran Via is just around the corner for extensive shopping in major chain stores. The more exclusive Calle Serrano with designer brands, is a 10 minute taxi ride away. Buying tickets for major musea and venues at the Concierge desk, at the same prices, however skipping the cues was a lovely extra service.”

“Could not fault, everything was excellent. Service was very friendly and super efficient, the bar area felt very relaxed and the interior design was superb. The restaurant in the converted stables was wonderful. The space is brilliant with the glass floor and the food was historic, especially the goat shoulder which melted in the mouth. The roof top pool area was great to relax in after a day sightseeing”

“From the moment we arrived at the hotel we where greeted by the doorman with the most welcoming smile. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond for everyone. The hotel is beautiful, stunning in fact. It’s in the centre so is in easy walking distance to all the main attractions. I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough.
