Delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms with good beds, modern and clean bathroom, unforgettable view (I highly recommend room with seaview!!). One of the best hotels we ever stayed at.
The hotel exceeded our (already high) expectations. No negative comments. Skybar didn't bother us, not much noise and closes at 11pm. We travelled with a baby, highchairs everywhere and nice kidscorner.

Rooms were really nice and clean, big comfy bed, good bathroom and tv, nice view. Cleaned every day. Chocolate on the pillow. Nice pool and sun beds.
Drinks and food way too expensive. Gym too small. No direct access to beach unless you fancy risking your life on the rocks.

Highly recommend this place. Staff is top level as are the facilities. I'm not one to stay at many 5-star hotels and I'm sure to some the 5 star rating is debatable, but this place is worth the stay and its 5 stars in my book. You're only a half mile from the main town (plenty of restaurants, shops) boardwalk along the sea cliffs and with a car you're able to get around plenty of great beaches and towns of the Algavre. Hotel is next to Vale Covo Beach for the day you don't want to stray away from hotel.
The staircase getting down to Vale Covo Beach could use a little more railing and "flooring" to make it easier to get to the beach itself, but I'm being picky. Most can get down there that don't have any major physical limitations. Again, I'm being a little picky about it.
