Radisson BLU es. Hotel, Rome

Overall very clean. Decent television facilities. Comfortable bed.

Felt very unsafe in the surrounding streets, surrounded by pick pocketers, homeless, beggars and other shady characters. When asked for assistance from staff it was not always willingly given. Some staff were on the verge of being rude and arrogant. Bathrooms were horrible with just a loose glass door closing off the toilet from the rest of the room (when we asked if any rooms were available with closed off bathrooms we were told that it was a modern style and that we should have looked more closely at the photos. We were then offered a room with facilities for persons with disabilities which had a closed off bathroom, but this was only available then following day during the morning hours when we had booked a tour so we missed our window of opportunity!). Breakfast and use of the pool were only available at an extra charge. Shower gel was provided 2 days out of 4. Non decaff coffee was provided on the first day only and not replenished. Room looked like it was painted by an amateur with brush strokes overlapping onto the floor tiles making the room look like a cheap bed and breakfast.

El desayuno es perfecto y también la piscina en la azotea aunque se cobre aparte.

La ubicación en los alrededores de la estación de Términi no nos gustó nada.

I love expected more from a Radisson Blu Hotel, having stayed in others previously and been very pleased. There was no door for privacy in the shower, which I wasn’t aware of, I would not have booked this room if I was. There was mould under the rim in the bath. Water came through to the bedroom when using the shower. And we had powdered milk with the coffee/tea facilities. The location was good for the train station, which was nice.
