Poor fixed price meal in Brasserie next door. Dead fly on tablecloth not dealt with well by front of house. Had to ask for bread to be replaced due to fly presence.

Our room was spacious and filled with light. A large balcony overlooking the garden and sea was equipped with table and chairs and ideal for relaxing. Our bed could easily have slept 3 and was very comfortable. Nice thick curtains efficiently blocked outside light so we were able to sleep, and the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. The pristine bathroom had plenty of room for all our bits and pieces. There is a good selection at breakfast. This was our third visit to the hotel, and I am pleased to say the standard of food in both restaurants was much better than last year. The hotel is in a nature-lover’s paradise with stunning scenery and many wooded areas with footpaths/cycle tracks to explore. Being tidal, the shore is host to a large variety of seabirds. I overheard someone say he had managed to photograph the Milky Way!
