Avantatges: Modern room but needed some minor maintenance. Quiet. Room overlooked a very pretty large square with peaceful cafes used by locals. Within walking distance of the railway station and the hotel provided excellent directions so we had no difficulty finding the hotel just into the old town.
Desavantatges: Some noise from other rooms. Breakfast disappointing.

Avantatges: This is one of the best value hotels we stayed in on our trip and deserving of its high rating. The lack of facilities, (bar, lounge etc) is more than compensated for by the central location in the old town. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit ordinary, but cheaper than many places at €9/per person.
Desavantatges: Despite having my credit card details to guarantee payment in the event of a ‘no show’, the full amount for both couples was charged a week in advance. This is curious practice and a nuisance when one party makes the bookings for everyone on the trip. In fairness to the hotel, this was made clear to me in advance, but it still an annoying practice.

Desavantatges: The hotel is very noisy. The rooms and hallways have stone floors. And Everytime someone moves a chair you can hear this through walls and ceilings even on other floors. The beds are not comfortable. We had to put some blankets under the sheets to make the matresses a little softer. The first night we had to change our top floor room, due to an extremely noisy installation on the roof. ( Resonation)

Avantatges: The hotel was quite spacious, with big comfortable rooms. Staff at the front desk were very professional and spoke great English. It was very clean, with comfy beds and plenty of room for bags, etc. We only stayed a night, so didn't use the kitchenette, but it looked like you could stay for weeks and be very comfortable. Breakfast was worth the additional charge of 8 Euros or so. It was buffet-style but the food was plentiful and delicious. Shower was good, wifi was solid, would definitely recommend this place!
Desavantatges: It was walking distance to the old part of the city, but a bit of a long walk. A small sacrifice for such a great hotel, though.

Desavantatges: Every morning 6:00 to 8 and every evening 10:30 to 11:30, it sounds like a bowling alley. I think they are setting up and tearing down the outside furniture. The staff was not smiling.... I smile... no smile back. Scheduled a massage and the lady walks through the lobby and gestures to me to follow... no greeting or smile. The massage should be called a light skin rub. Even after I requested more pressure, just lazy hands. I like the restaurant. Food was fresh and cooked to order.

En realidad pagas la localización porque las habita iones son bastante normalitas. Avantatges: El personal que allí trabaja fue muy atento y agradable, sobre todo la recepcionista que nos informó muy bien sobre que ver y donde comer en León, era muy simpática. También nos gustó las vistas desde la habitación a la catedral, el hotel está ubicado en un punto estratégico (al lado de la catedral y de los bares de tapas) y sin ruidos.
Desavantatges: No se puede llegar en coche a la puerta del hotel aunque sea para dejar las maletas porque es una calle peatonal.

Avantatges: Great for a city break. I had a comfortable attic room with a view of the cathedral and button by the bed which you can press to open and close the window/blind. I also made use of the spa which was a real bonus after a strenuous day and worth the $10, Hotel very well located in the centre of Leon with several eating options nearby. The breakfast was as good as any served in a cafeteria in Spain, and excellent value at $3; I had freshly squeezed orange juice, cafe con leche and toasted croissant (croissant plancha) with marmalade. What more could you possibly want?

Avantatges: Location is superb - very near the Cathedral, and San Isidoro is only a short distance away. Everything in the historic city centre (including many good bars and restaurants) is within easy reach, but the area immediately around the hotel is just off the main routes and is surprisingly quiet. Rooms are small but well-planned, and are furnished in a modern idiom. The very reasonable prices represent good value for money. Continental breakfast in the bar at 3 euros each is pretty good.

Avantatges: A good place to stay, near the cathedral. Our floor (4th, I think) had windows on the roof - affording us views of Leon Cathedral. Very romantic.
Desavantatges: Can't drive up to the door with the luggage .... which was a bit of a drag. I think this needs to be stressed in the booking confirmation (block letters/italics).

Aquest hostal amb encant està situat al centre històric de Lleó i ofereix un allotjament d'estil medieval, amb murals pintats a mà i balcons. L'Hospedería Fernando I disposa de Wi-Fi gratuïta a tot l'establiment. El restaurant tradicional de l'Hospedería Fernando I serveix cuina regional i té parets de pedra amb pintures al fresc. Els menús del dia per dinar i per sopar consten de 3 primers i 3 segons plats per triar. Les habitacions de l'hostal inclouen TV de pantalla plana, bany privat, aire condicionat i calefacció. L'Hospedería Fernando I és al costat de la catedral de Lleó i de la muralla romana. L'aeroport de Lleó és a uns 6 km.

Avantatges: La localización y la disponibilidad de la dueña en el check in y el check out a la hora que necesitábamos. Había una peluquería cerca que atienden sin cita y una cafetería donde desayunar si no quieres pagar por el desayuno en la pensión.
Desavantatges: El olor a tabaco en toda la planta era insoportable para no fumadores. Las toallas olían a tabaco al acercártelas. Justo al lado de nuestra habitación había un baño que olía a pis cuando lo usaba alguien y se metía el olor en nuestra habitación. La insonorización de la habitación era pésima. Y las puertas de las habitaciones muy viejas, tanto que podía ver por una rendija al huésped de enfrente si pasabas por delante de la puerta. El baño interior de la habitación era minúsculo, no había dónde dejar un neceser. Tuvimos que ir a comprar ambientadores nada más llegar para poder dormir y que el olor de la pensión no se pegara en la ropa que llevábamos para el día siguiente.

Avantatges: This hotel is just as its name says: several apartments on the first floor of a modern building in Leon. Living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom - very good for a cheap and long stay. Car parking is free and easy, pets are allowed. It is not in the old downtown area, but Leon is not a big city so it's easy and short walk to the historic monuments. Supermarket and several restaurants are in the surroundings.
Desavantatges: It took some time to wait for the owner to arrive and open the apartment - not too much, but could be less.

Avantatges: The location is right on the Camino in the heart of the tourist area. Plenty of eating opportunities and close to all sights. Leon is a beautiful city we easily filled our two night stay. The staff were very helpful and spoke English.
Desavantatges: The location was also a problem as all the locals love this area as well and they stay up much later than us pilgrims. Unfortunately the windows were not double glazed. Saturday night was very noisy, Sunday night was much better.

The large, modern, spacious (wheelchair accessible) rooms were very comfortable. We particularly valued the secure underground parking for our motorcycles. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Avantatges: Quizá la relación calidad precio que era aceptable y el tamaño de la habitación
Desavantatges: El desayuno buffet es francamente malo . El café era soluble , no habia posibilidad de tomar otro ya que era de maquinita , el zumo de polvos y el eufemistico embutido que ponian era malo y de hacia dias . Es curioso que en un sitio como Leon , donde en cualquier Bar te ponen un embutido buenisimo , en este hotel el queso fuera de lonchas , el jamón cocido fuera fiambre de jamón del de mas baja calidad y las 4 rodajas de chorizo eran muy normalitas. Ademas era un poco bochornoso verlo alli igual de seco al dia siguiente , ni siquiera se molestaban en cambiarlo.El resto del del desayuno era normal , algo de bolleria , pan , mantequilla , mermelada y yogures.Vale la pena irse a desayunar a cualquier cafeteria de la zona

Avantatges: El hotel está situado en un lugar privilegiado, el personal es muy atento y los desayunos tipo buffet eran bastante buenos
Desavantatges: La habitación que nos tocó daba a un patio de luces, la habitación estaba limpia pero había cosas que daban pena, un remiendo en la colcha...un taburete en el baño bastante viejo y deteriorado..no había escobilla. Vamos, la habitación bastante pobre, pero limpia y cómoda.

Avantatges: Lo que mas me ha gustado ha sido la ubicacion y la relacion calidad-precio.
Desavantatges: Pues no me gusto nada el calor que hacia en la habitacion, era calefaccion central y no podiamos quitarla, y encima una noche la tuvieron encendida toda la noche, tuvimos que dormir con la ventana abierta y eso que en la calle hacia frio.
