Thought it was a bit pricey

Very nice hotel with all kinds of extras and friendly staff. Loved the umbrellas provided at the reception as it was rainy. Beautiful bar. Spacious room, toilet and bathroom separate. Liked the couch. Free chilled and bubbled water and tea at every floor. Ironing room on 3rd floor great idea! Great location, very central and close to tram (Bankverein).

Breakfast pricey but this price is average for Basel/CH (Swiss is overall pricey). My boyfriend thought the styling was a bit cold (concrete floor in room). Only thin sheets available in room, OK it was summer but bit too cold for me. Some noise from hallway.

The location was excellent for our two night stay. We easily got everywhere we wanted to on foot. The library was a nice additional space for us, and the hotel room was designed and configured for our maximum comfort.

It was expensive and the announced "snacks" available in the library were pretty much non-existent. There were not very many restaurants close by, but that isn't a fault with the hotel.
