Avantatges: Manager of the hotel is professional in solving any issues with our booking.

Desavantatges: Some receptionist don't show any professionalism. They should hire employees that know how to speak english. Its difficult if you don't speak spanish.

Avantatges: The staff very friendly, helping me to surprise my boyfriend for his b-day with a cake and a bottle of champagne. Hotel was very clean, fast check in . I will recommand this hotel for my friends.

Desavantatges: the food was not so good . 7/10

Avantatges: Great beach front location. Spacious room, even though we were in an economy room. Excellent breakfast with wide variety of food.

Avantatges: Hotel was well equipped and the room was spacious.

Desavantatges: Unfortunately the pool was closed which we were not aware of when we made the booking.

Avantatges: The resort is beautifully set up for summer with the most spectacular lagoon pools... but unfortunately, even though I'd checked the websites and couldn't see anything suggesting that the pools would be closed, they were. The indoor pool was open but it was quite small and not really for relxing in (no shallow area for young kids). The worst part was that the playground was a) fenced off, and b) closed for almost the whole day! They had people working at heights on the building next to it, so they closed the whole area except from about 4-6pm. So, we were left with almost nothing AT the resort to do. The one saving grace was that they had a good music/dancing show on Friday night which meant we didn't get the kids to bed until about 11pm (eek!) but it was probably the most memorable night of the holidays for them.

Desavantatges: I guess we had bad luck with the playground and the pools (though I had sent them a msg via booking.com to confirm re: the pools before booking, but they never responded to my message so I took a punt since I couldn't see anything saying that they would be closed for our dates). Maybe I stuffed it up... but worth checking with them directly and making sure you get a response!

Avantatges: Disfruté de la vista al mar desde nuestra habitación. La habitación estaba limpia y tenía lo que cabe esperar de una habitación de hotel europeo.

Desavantatges: No como en el desayuno, pero me gusta tomar una taza o dos de café por la mañana. Me decepcionó que no había cafetera en la habitación. Cuando me fui del bar, no pude tomar un café para llevar, tenía que tomarlo allí.

We were given a room upgrade to the executive junior suite (thank you very much melia hotels) which was fantastic, especially the massive balcony and sea views If you are thinking of staying in this area then look no further than this hotel You will not be disappointed, we had a fab stay and can't wait to return

Avantatges: Very clean communal areas, welcoming reception staff large Bed in room with lovely view and a great top terrace bar and pool. Staff all around the Hotel were very friendly and Happy!

Avantatges: The location was great for us as we could walk around and enjoy the sea and the neighborhood and the people. The town center and transportation were relatively easy to reach even though one of us has mobility issues (disabled leg and walks with cane).

Desavantatges: The time went too quickly and will require a longer stay next year.

Avantatges: La ubicación era muy buena... cerca de la estación de metro y de la zona comercial. El personal era servicial. La comida estilo buffet era buena.

Desavantatges: La cama, aunque muy apreciada de tamaño king, el colchón podría haber sido un poco más grueso y suave y las almohadas un poco más blandas.

Avantatges: Excelente ubicación. Personal amable y servicial.

Desavantatges: el acceso gratuito a internet wi-fi en el vestíbulo era tan lento que ni siquiera me sentí tentado a pagar por usarlo en mi habitación. Después de que llegaran mucho más, todo lo que quería era remojarme en un baño caliente. El hotel tiene duchas en las habitaciones. La comida varía de excelente a británica.

Desavantatges: Unfortunately we arrived just before the hotel/Spain went into lockdown due to the coronavirus. The hotel and staff were excellent but our overall stay was not as we were confined to our room till we went home. Hopefully when the country gets back to normal we will be able to return for a proper holiday.

Desavantatges: When I advised the balcony was unsafe rails were to be honest a hazard not secured by anything apart from silicone sealant, wobbled when my partner leaned on it floor 8. I was so scared could not use it, when I told staff they refused to move us, but did say if not fixed by the time we returned from dinner they would refund that nigh stay. Next day a different statement full cost but if you stay longer we will reduce payment. I WAS OUT OF THERE, WATCH OUT BALCONY LOVERS.

Avantatges: Location was excellent, took no time to get from the airport via train, hotel was in the square as you came out of the station.

Desavantatges: Thought choice of food one offer in the evening was disappointing. Boiled or Baked potatoes would have been nice, don't like potatoes in sauces and plain boiled and baked would have been lovely, we were fed up of chips!!

Avantatges: This review was not for the 20th/21st march 2020, as due to the Spanish Covid 19 issue, it was closed for a 15 day period as enforced by the state, to prevent further corana virus transmission spread. ( wise decision) a shame the UK did not implement similar measures sooner. Having stayed some 10 days earlier, i can say the location is excellent, with a wide range of types of bars, eating places, shops etc. The reception on shift at our stay, was very helpful, plus just very short walk to Torremilanos station, for the Airport etc.

Desavantatges: The Hotel needed a overall bit of TLC, but nothing to be to concerned about.

Desavantatges: La habitación y las camas perfectas, ahora los baños necesitan una mejora o un rediseño en la primera habitación que nos dieron no se imposible sentarse bien en el WC a nadie se le ocurre cruzarlo con el bidé y en la bañera cruza la manguera de la ducha por en medio por que el enganche e la alcachofa está en una pared distinta a los grifos. Ni de broma lo hacen mejor jajaja

Avantatges: So good to see such a good quality hotel offering arrive on the Torremolinos scene which was declining quite a bit a few years ago, however has enjoyed a bit of a revival in the last few years with lots of new bars and club nights and off course the Ritual hotel! the hotel is lovely! staff are all very friendly, big pool area very nice and with plenty of beds available with a bar too, there is quite a lot of different room types I believe but I was in the basic which i was really happy with! balconies are a decent size. next time I would definitely go for a sea view which is also pool view, its quite a lively hotel but not too much so maybe if you like quiet hotels this wouldn't be for you but I loved the buzz about the place! I will 100% return.......I actually cant wait to go back and I don't say that about hotels often as I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels every week with my job so it becomes mundane! there's NOTHING mundane about Ritual. such a fun cool place to stay without being tacky or seedy! LOVED IT!! I was on my own and at no point did I feel out of place or the odd one out

Avantatges: Newly refurbished rooms were lovely. Staff were so helpful and the hotel was so clean. Great location and near by bars, shops, restaurants and a beautiful chipper

Avantatges: The location was key to choosing to stay here, we weren't disappointed with the Puerto Marina only 5 mins walk away. Rooms were spacious and clean, check in was easy and staff were nice with us.

Avantatges: We were extremely fortunate to be upgraded to a newly refurbished one bed apartment albeit open plan

Our room had a smell of sewage, asked to change was told they would fix it, told us it was fixed and was due to the wind....( there was no wind) eventually insisted on changing rooms..... new room perfect. Gentlemen on reception was super efficient and kind, two ladies not so much, anytime we went to reception we felt we were an inconvenience to there day. Hotel is lovely, breakfast was fab and Barman super friendly and professional

Avantatges: El hotel cumple totalmente todas las expectativas para poder relajarte un fin de semana. Cerca del centro y de la playa. La comida del buffet es bastante buena y no hemos echado nada en falta. El Spa pequeñito pero está muy bien para darte un baño tranquilamente. Lo que mas nos ha gustado ha sido el trato recibido, desde la amabilidad de Francisco (recepción) hasta el trato de Victor (restaurante). Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Tienes que pagar por internet wifi. Este es el 2015. Las paredes están sucias, por ejemplo, y las moquetas manchadas. El hotel es antiguo y da vergüenza.

Desavantatges: Our visit was in November therefore a little chilly and several shops and bars were closed. We wanted a hotel close to Malaga as a base however we found the hotel was not on the main bus route to Malaga. It was necessary to take a taxi to the local train station costing 8 /9 euros

Avantatges: La úbicación es excelente, primera línea de playa pero no en el mismo centro, atención del personal, limpieza de la habitación, vistas desde la terraza. Desayuno muy bueno, eché en falta zumo natural y algo más de variedad en los dulces.

Desavantatges: Habitación muy calurosa y no era verano. Sólo hay un ascensor. Se notaban los muebles en el colchón.

Avantatges: Beautiful small hotel, the marbel floors throughout the hotel were very special and a beautiful colour. Good facilities and everything immaculately clean.

Desavantatges: Our stay was in November therefore the weather was a little chilly and many shops and bars were closed for the season. We intended to use the hotel as a base and travel however there wasn't any public transport available to travel to Malaga.We found the taxis expensive travelling to the local train station.

Avantatges: Creo que lo mejor del hotel, es la ubicación y sobretodo la tranquilidad que hay por la noche, pese a estar a 2 minutos andando del paseo marítimo, por la noche se puede descansar plácidamente. El desayuno buffet está muy bien, la cena en cambio se podría mejorar

Desavantatges: El hotel estaba muy bien, quizás la única pega que le pondría (nada importante) sería la falta de un minibar en la habitación y algún tipo de animación en la piscina / jardín.

Avantatges: Great staff, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunatlely we stayed there in the run up to the Covid 19 lockdown. They handled the situation extremely well. We look forward to returning in better times.

Avantatges: It's a huge hotel with reasonable good service. In low season a lot of space for free parking next to hotel (take right side and drive to condominiums). Close to the ocean with parrots setting on trees like a pigeons. Good level of English on reception. Food verity is good, however...

Desavantatges: Perhaps it will be overcrowded in high season due to the size of the hotel and definitely will be challenging to find place in restaurant. What will stay in memories it's the taste of food... in spite the good variety (they really try) the taste is worth nothing. It's to be honest food to keep you alive, it was very interesting why a lot food has been prepared in such way... One thing that also is remarkable is that reception service empathy is low level... Our 3 years old baby has high temperature for few days, and that's why extended stay here, however, no one was requested for help except showing on the map the hospital. It's not crucial for me, but reduce service stars..

Avantatges: We had two rooms for 1 adult and 2 children. Efficient housekeeping. Great buffet breakfast and dinner.

Desavantatges: More lounges ... people tend to claim the existing sun lounges with their towels leaving no sun lounges for anyone else and often these were left unoccupied for many hours during the day.

Desavantatges: Our stay in this hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is dated and needs a comprehensive upgrade. The first night until 2:30 they were busy with a door repair; very noisy and we couldn't sleep! there is a free WiFi but most of time it's not working or it's extremely slow. Our booking was a half board (breakfast and dinner). The First day the dinner was cold and tasteless and completely waste of money. The second night the dinner was the same!. In general most of personnel are rude with very impolite behavior! The third night like the other nights we went for an orange juice but one of workers almost attacked us and grabbed the glasses in very unpleasant way and asked us to pay for the juice!!!. When I spoke to the manager surprisingly his concern was only that the juice and behavior of the workers was not important to him!!!. Next day I discussed with the manager about employees and just guess what; he and nobody else were unaware that somebody was busy with a door repair till 2:30 am!! (so nobody was trying to breaking in a room? they didn't know! how come we could feel safe there?). In general if you're looking for your worst hotel experience, impolite behaviors، awful services, no internet, wasting your money book this hotel.

Avantatges: The hotel as a whole was very good, and the food was excellent with plenty of choice and cooked well. The hotel was kept very clean, and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Desavantatges: When we arrived we were too early to check in. Although we were half board, we asked if we could pay for lunch. We were told that we could only have lunch if we booked it for the full week. Surely it would have been easy to give us a receipt to show in the restaurant. Another thing was that as we were only half board, we were unable to buy snacks at the hotel.

Avantatges: Location was very good, very close to the beach and we had an amazing view from the top. You can walk from there easily to find restaurants and lifestyle around the area, very nice location.

Desavantatges: Worst coffee I have ever had in my life. Tried the capucino or the coffe with milk but they all tasted very bad. The rest of the breakfast was ok, not very healthy options though, maybe they could update a bit what they offer.

The third night like the other nights we went for an orange juice but one of workers almost attacked us and grabbed the glasses in very unpleasant way and asked us to pay for the juice!!!. When I spoke to the manager surprisingly his concern was only that the juice and behavior of the workers was not important to him!!!. Next day I discussed with the manager about employees and just guess what; he and nobody else were unaware that somebody was busy with a door repair till 2:30 am!! (so nobody was trying to breaking in a room? they didn't know! how come we could feel safe there?). In general if you're looking for your worst hotel experience, impolite behaviors، awful services, no internet, wasting your money book this hotel.
