Avantatges: I actually stayed in this hotel last year (liked it), however my contact in Guangzhou wanted me to stay in another Hotel Vienna that was closer to his workplace. This Hotel Vienna agreed to refund me the booking on request from my contact and as I requested the cancelation close to when I booked. Very honourable and trustworthy would be my comment.

Avantatges: We got upgraded to the room with river and city view. It was absolutely stunning, the view is breathtaking. Also, the design of the room is impressive in every little detail.

Avantatges: The decorations of the check in floor. The decorations in the rooms, look good but not much details. Excellent city overlooking views.

Desavantatges: The power plugs didn’t work. The location of switches are not user friendly, you cannot change the light setting easily. The combination of lights are so limited. There is only 1 USB outlet on the desk. The control penal on the desk is basically useless (outdated).

Avantatges: THe bathroom and the swimming pool

Avantatges: Wonderful internet, everything is very high quality, efficient, perfect. Amazing window view ! Super!

Desavantatges: There are only two types of dessert in the lounge: a cheesecake and a chocolate fountain; in five days it could have bothered. Staff forgets to pour salt in the saline when they bring food to the room.

Avantatges: Excellent view of Pearl Tower and river! Great SPA, therapist Amanda is excellent! Warm and helpful staff. Lovely, comfortable and spacious room. Good foods served in Chinese restaurant. Great location, and I like to walk around the Huacheng Square.

Avantatges: Todo, Four Seasons nunca defrauda. Es perfecto el servicio, atento pero nunca servil. El edificio es maravilloso, imponente, en la mejor zona de la ciudad. El desayuno es perfecto. No creo que vuelva a esta horrible ciudad, pero si lo hiciera, iría allí sin duda.

Avantatges: Overall experience was good. Larger than normal room, clean with state of the art amenities. Staffs are very nice and actively being helpful. The Chinese restaurant lives up to its Michelin star rating.

Desavantatges: There is definitely quite a bit room for improvement in terms of the tightness of daily operation. It took me 4 contacts (calls and chats) and some unpleasant exchange of words to secure a lunch reservation at the Chinese restaurant. A place like the Fours Seasons, it should have been one and done.

Y el Personal que te hace vivir esa experiencia de lujo desde el momento que pones el primer pie en el hotel hasta que te vas Un bufé, caro, pero extraordinario, de los mejores que he visto y probado. Sorprende positivamente en todos los aspectos.

Desavantatges: Service is zero, At the breakfast coffee was brought after half an hour and absolutely cold, boiled eggs never delivered during two days. At the restaurant drinks were delivered almost when we finished dinner; at the check out they refused to offer even an hour late check out, although half of the hotel was empty. It is not five star hotel service, moreover service that you wait from Mandarin Oriental. I will never stay at this hotel again and definitely would never recommend it.

Avantatges: Clean, good service. They keep your room clean and tidy every time you go out. Spacious bathroom. Nice design of the elevator.

Desavantatges: Awkward furnishing and decoration. Dark furnitures makes the room strange. Huge dark doors in the lobby, looked so depressing.

Desavantatges: The handles on most of the drawers were very sticky - obviously hadn't been cleaned for a long time after a sticky spill. Disgusting

Desavantatges: but the pillows are too soft I had bad sleep and uncomfortable on my shoulder and neck every morning.

Avantatges: It was very clean. I love the customer service. Rooms are clean and most of the staff there speak English. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and staff goes above and beyond.

Avantatges: This Hotel was in the amazing location and its so clean staff was very kind. Especially Guest Service Menager Mr.Jack Xu take care of all details to feel confortable to us.

Avantatges: Everything works, staff are helpful especially the lady at the reception who checked us in. She tried her best to explain about the government policy of not allowing single use toiletry items. She did well!

Desavantatges: I like it so much that I was convinced to join the Marriot Sheraton loyalty programme but I had not been able to register online due to some password or name problem. It would be great if someone from the Loyalty Programme centre could get it sorted out for me .

Avantatges: good location with friendly staff, near to just adjacent building to popular shopping centre, anyway guangzhou is a great city.

I was not given a receipt on checkout because it was 6 in the morning and their internet was down for service. After staying in this hotel so many times, my faith in the hotel is shaken a bit

Avantatges: I would like to put a special mention for the restaurant Limoni and it's staff. Special mention for Bonnie...who is a star. She went extra mile to the provide what was needed. Similar mention for the breakfast and the team present during breakfast.

Desavantatges: Hairs , stained product , not worth indeed for the first visit A bit disappointed and sound proofing is quite bad Maintenance is not up to standard, some issues in bathroom and look aging FO staff did not introduce her name upon checkin and did not ask about my feedback after my departure, quite surprised if this is RC standard Hsk team is polite however some issues in room , i did not see the Ritz Carlton Gold Standard especially the motto we are ladies and gentlemen serves ladies and gentlemen Overall the experiences is disappointed

El desayuno es increíble, hay de todo para comer. El spa y la pileta al aire libre (con jacuzzi) muy recomendables también. Volvería a este hotel todo los días!

Avantatges: Outstanding chief, directly present himself to the customer, fulfilling Owen need, and anticipate our demand. My wife showed interest in pumpkin soup in one meal, next meal he prepared it even though it wasn’t listed. Food going to get me back to Guangzhou Ritz. Thanks to Chief Jewish.

Desavantatges: Rooms were not entirely sound proofed so we could hear the family next door. I complained to the staff and they sorted it out within 5 minutes.

Desavantatges: El bus para la feria tiene que salir antes, se llega a la feria cerca de las 10 en el primer bus, es importante que el primero salga a las 830. A partir del 3er día me fui siempre en taxi para llegar a tiempo y no tener menos tiempo de feria. Otro inconveniente es que ponía "No molestar" en la habitación y sin embargo entraban a limpiar!!! El desayuno y buffet de la noche son casi iguales, se puede mejorar. La pizza es muy mala.

Avantatges: Everything was ok. Specially the manager Michael. She was very helpful and I would like to thank her a lot. They also served fresh fruit to my room for free two or three times during my stay. The only thing I did not like was the location. Actually I did not like walking around the hotel. But anyway the hotel and the staff were all ok. Everything was clean. Nice hotel. Also taking taxi is convenient. You just ask the staff and they will help you.

Avantatges: I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and this one is definitely up there. From check in to check out, flawless. I’ll start with the room. A typical well planned and spacious room with big windows and a good view. The decoration is a little old but they maintain it so well, very very clean rooms (I would know because I have OCD with cleanliness, and my nose would pick it up straight away as I have dust allergy). Fixtures and fittings are top quality. I’m surprised how they keep the bathtub so clean, doesn’t look like it’s been used much. The beds! Oh the beds - so comfortable including the different pillows they give. Good sized bathroom with electric blinds for privacy from the bedroom. Next is the staff - second to none. Top notch service every time. Anything I requested from buying medicine in the middle of the night for my wife, to changing stay dates and refund was all seen to. Housekeeping was so good I never noticed them! They never disturbed us. Thanks to Elaine, Rio and anyone who I forgot the names of for a lovely stay. Location is the best in town. Endless shops and places to eat just downstairs (Pacific Place is the best for eating - Hot Iron in specific!). Metro is a 2 min walk and Guangzhou East Railway Station is 12 mins drive. I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to GZ. Don’t waste your money with Conrad etc. Marriott is much better in Guangzhou. Thank you guys!

Desavantatges: The whole check-in process was painful. We tried an early check-in and it took over 30 minutes for the front desk to figure out that the 2 rooms were not ready. When we were back at 17:00 for the check-in it took an other 30 minutes and the 2 rooms were still not ready. They told us 30 minutes but we had to wait an extra hour to get the rooms. Both rooms were booked as not smoking but they actually gave us 1 smoking room, had to change the room.

Desavantatges: Podrían tener más taxis al servicio del huésped o incluso tener choferes para llevar a extranjeros y esperarlos en diferentes puntos para regresen a su hotel cuando se requiera lo demás es un hotel magnífico

Avantatges: The scenery was outstanding. The interior of the public areas was gorgeous. The sports facilities were good. Our room had a nice view from a nice cosy balcony. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.

Desavantatges: Staff hardly spoke any English. The cleanness of the room left much to be desired. Cafes and restaurants are about 1 km walk from the hotel. Make sure the pool is open before you confirm your booking.

Avantatges: Breakfast buffet was great and bed super comfy. Rooms very big and my wife loved the bath. Staff were very friendly.

Desavantatges: We booked a room with a double bed and got two twins instead. Wasnt a big problem. Just had to go back down and ask to be given a different room. Was just our second time staying here and the same thing happened last time.

Avantatges: The staff was very helpful on check-in to bring two reservations into one and allow me to stay in the same room for the entrire trip.

Desavantatges: Unfortunately I left an expensive Cross pen in my room and on my return it went missing. I am not sure if it was taken inadvertantly during the room cleaning... I hope that they can locate it.

Avantatges: Hotel algo antiguo pero muy amplio y tranquilo. Siempre vengo acá para Canton Fair. Buen desayuno, mas si te alojas en zona ejecutiva (5to. piso). Acceso a traslados (de pago). Contacto con la naturaleza por estar al pie de una montaña.

Desavantatges: Zona residencial aislada. Si quieres salir por tu cuenta, tendras problemas de traslado.

Desavantatges: Anuncian autobús gratis a la feria de Cantón y no es verdad, anuncio del 2016, desde entonces lo cobran a unos 10€ más por persona el día. El buffet muy limitado, el personal del restaurante muy lento y no tenían casi de ningún plato. Antes nos gustaba para la feria de Cantón, pero entre que esta muy lejos (50 min de autobús) y que ya no lo ponen gratis ya no merece la pena, además, sólo ponen un autobús y lo perdimos varios días para volver, el hotel no se quería hacer cargo del coste del billete.

Avantatges: Amazing hotel! The price was much less than what I would have paid for a hotel of similar style in the US! The hotel is beautiful & clean & the staff are extremely helpful, even when there is a language barrier. The breakfast was delicious & it had a lot of variety. Although the hotel is outside of downtown Guangzhou, there is a free shuttle bus to the city bus center, and the staff can help you find out ways to get into downtown Guangzhou. The grounds around the hotel are breath-taking! It was hard to leave such a wonderful hotel!

Desavantatges: This is supposedly an international hotel but all the staff struggled to understand basic English. There was no "heart" to this hotel so you were either in your room or out.

Desavantatges: The sofa bed did not have bed sheet or blanket cover. I had bed bugs bites in arms and legs.

Large room, but although an international chain hotel (Hilton group) only Chinese tv channel, wifi signal unstable, few staff, apart from receptionists, speaking English... large room but no trypod nor other thing for the suitcase.... staying on floor.

Avantatges: The brand name and the standard which goes along with it.

Desavantatges: Total misrepresentation of the fact about Metro Station. It takes 23 minutes by walking fast and not 10 minutes as stated and Gangding Metro Station is over 1.7 Kms away and not 2600 ft as mentioned. We would have never ever booked here had the Metro fact not misrepresented. This was a very very expensive stay and not worth the amenities provided. 3 Stars out of 5

Avantatges: Breakfast is mainly a good Asian style and only a little western. Staff is friendly. Starbucks is just connected to it.

Desavantatges: Room key card need to be adjusted evary day, every time it was blocked even after complaints it was not changed. TV did not have any english channels - even no News channels.

Desavantatges: The no smoking meant nothing. They were constantly smokers on the non smoking floors and when complaining they did nothing and didn’t compensate. Also, outside the hotel constantly smelt of sewer.

Avantatges: Very clean. great location. Comfortable room. Internet access in reception. WiFi strong. Staff friendly. Air conditioning and strong shower.

Desavantatges: The food selection and availability was disappointing.

Avantatges: The receptionist are poor service, booked but waited for 2 hours because can’t find the booking. She has no eye contact, not polite at all.

Avantatges: Housekeeping team was good. Responded to every request promptly. Nice little touches like putting extra bottles of water in the room. Westin is well-located and near to subway, train station and shopping mall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice gym.

Desavantatges: Breakfast restaurant furniture and decor a little dated. Can do with a refresh. Swimming pool requires users to have a cap, and I didn't have one, so couldn't use the pool.

Desavantatges: Needed to fix showerhead + Buffet could use a bit a variety. Was every day the same. Did not always look fresh

Avantatges: the staff were amazing! from the manager down to the people who greeted us every time we left and arrived ! we were very happy that our late check out request was arranged last minute
