Avantatges: Our room was beautiful, very unique with a great view. Very close to a bus stop so that helps avoid a few stairs. Great breakfast served on our balcony the next morning.

Avantatges: Amazing! Beautiful breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning at a time of our choosing. The rooms and hotel were spotless & the staff were very friendly.

Desavantatges: The hike back up to the hotel lol, however that exists anywhere in Positano with a view so it is nothing against Villa Yiara!

Avantatges: The room was so nice. The view was nice as well. There's a kitchen. The access to the room is independent as well. They offer parking cheaper than the parking lots.

Avantatges: Loved our stay here, would book again in a heartbeat. We were swinging cats in the room, very spacious. Great location too, short walk up the hill away from the hustle and bustle.

Avantatges: great breakfast, delivered to the room at a time of your choosing, every morning. comfortable bed and good-sized room. every amenity you could need is available in the room. attentive staff.

Desavantatges: the hotel is a little trek from the centre, but it was worth it for some great views, and a bus is available.

Avantatges: The room was beautiful, just like in the pictures. The view from the patio was stunning, better than in the pictures. The staff was fantastic, very polite and friendly, ready to accommodate any request. In the middle of our stay, my wife accidentally dropped one of her gold ear rings onto the patio of the apartment below ours (one not owned by the Villa Yiara). The young lady in the office assured us, "don't worry, we will figure out how to find it". The next day a young man in the office fished it up using fishing line and multiple hooks; he worked diligently for 10-15 minutes till he was successful. The breakfast is wonderful and fresh, just like in the pictures. The fresh squeezed orange juice was some of the best I have had. Their are two nice palms inside the room and beautiful plants and trees on the patio. The closet space is ample. The TV has most stations in Italian, but has Netflix, which we enjoyed at night. The room has tile throughout, which made it very clean indeed. There is a nice store for buying wine, cheese, and bread that is a short distance from the villa. Stairs (not so many) down to the main road of Positano are located a short distance (20 m) from the villa. The best way to see Positano is to simply walk the main road all the way to the beach. This will take the better part of a day if one stops in the various shops, takes photos, has coffee, eats lunch, and has wine along the way.

Desavantatges: The room could benefit from a chest of drawers. The lack of drawers requires that one live out of a suitcase. But this is only a minor inconvenience compared to how wonderful the room is. Anyone going to Positano should be prepared to walk, and climb stairs. The room was at the bottom of three flights of stairs. But hey, that is one of the things that makes Positano so beautiful; as they say, it is a vertical city.

Avantatges: Palazzo Murat is a unique hotel in the hart of Positano. It is easy to get every wear from the hotel. Few steps from the beach. The view from the room and rest spaces of the hotel are breathtaking. The hotel is the green oasis with beautiful garden. We spend only one night in the hotel, but it was unforgettable. And It was a very nice surprise for us that hotel made a very nice room upgrade. It was very pleasant, especially it was my birthday. Thank you Palazzo Murat.

Restaurant set in the hotel gardens was beautiful and breakfast was extremely good with waiter service. Pool area was stunning with views over the bay, pool waiter was very attentive.

Avantatges: Beautiful location! Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even helped us book a unforgettable car tour of the amalfi coast. Waiters Salvatore and Fernando were very friendly and accommodating during our lunch al fresco as we soaked in the views. They made us want to return for dinner again that night. Enjoyed another magical night soaking in the breathtaking views of Positano from their rooftop restaurant by night. Beautiful place to celebrate our 25th Anniversary! The music, the ambiance and the food were all perfetto!

Avantatges: The view, the room it was all beautiful! We went on our honeymoon and it was just so incredible!

Desavantatges: The jacuzzi bath wasnt working which is slightly annoying when you pay what you pay but the view from our balcony made up for it!

Avantatges: Private beach is great. Hotel offers a free shuttle 24 hours a day to the main drop off point in Positano.

Avantatges: We had a wonderful stay at Il San Pietro. A 5 star hotel with the uncommon warmth & genuine charm of a family owned & run hotel. The staff were friendly & approachable and go above & beyond. They found equipment for my husband to go snorkelling - probbaly not a common request (especially in the first week of May) We were delighted with our stay & look forward to returning Had breakfast brought to our room so we could enjoy our fabulous balcony - highly recommend

Avantatges: El lloc on està emplaçat l'hotel és molt bonic. Les vistes sobre la Costa Amalfitana són espectaculars. Quan als serveis de l'hotel, cal destacar la platja privada a la qual s'accedeix amb un ascensor intern. El bany és de fàcil accés i l'hotel et proporciona tot el necessari: tovalloles, ulleres,.... A més, en el preu està inclòs una excursió en barca de dues hores per la costa. Els productes de l'esmorzar són de molt bona qualitat.

Desavantatges: El preu és exagerat pel servei que ofereixen i per la comoditat de l'habitació, sobretot del bany que més aviat és petit, amb una sola pica, una banyera-dutxa tot junt, poc eficaç ja que cada cop que et dutxes mulles el terra. Les vistes des de la nostra habitació (48) són boniques, però no espectaculars com s'hauria d'esperar pel preu que es paga (més de 1.000 euros!!!). El check out és a les 11 h. molt d'hora.

Avantatges: The views, the cleanliness, the romance, staff, food at Zass, Concierge (Giuseppe Caso) all exceeded our expectations.

Desavantatges: A very rainy May this year but the hotel staff, views, and pure luxury made up for it.

Avantatges: Superb service, excellent food. Rooms were always left spotless.

Avantatges: An absolutely beautiful, old world hotel in a private setting. We had a breathtaking sea view. The room was lovely...newly renovated and very tasteful. The staff was exceptionally helpful and made us feel like important and valued guests. The concierge, Guiseppe, is one of the best I have ever met at a hotel!

Desavantatges: Our shower had some problems with the temperature....it fluctuated and needed to be adjusted while showering.

Avantatges: Franscesco and Luigi are the best hosts! We felt so at home in their lovely B&B for 5 days for our honeymoon. The B&B was very clean and the view from the balcony was amazing! They gave us great suggestions for restaurants and things to do, excellent sources for the best way to travel around Positano. Breakfast on the balcony was the highlight of our days there. Delicious choices including fresh fruits and their lemon cake (fresh lemons from their very own farm) was amazing! We will definitely return to Casa Nilde! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Desavantatges: The shower was a little disappointing. Low pressure, poor head and fluctuating temperatures. Stairs yes but you're in Positano and there aren't that many compared to the rest. Very short walk down to beaches

Avantatges: This was one of the most incredible hotel experiences I've ever had. Rosita is the GEM of this hotel, and my fiance and I can honestly say we miss her! She made us feel like family from the moment we met her. Our room was incredible, the balcony overlooking the sea was amazing and the bathroom with the window you can look at the sea from the shower was EVERYTHING. The breakfast room overlooking the sea was magical, we never wanted to leave. We will absolutely come here again. It was wonderful.

Avantatges: I absolutely loved Miramare. Rosita and Carmela were so hospitable and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and the views incredible. Breakfast was in a stunning room filled with a ceiling of flowers over looking Positano and the sea. They offer a free boat trip every day if you want. And from a historical point of view, this is the oldest hotel in Positano.

Avantatges: The hotel Miramare is a beautiful hotel with the best view in Positano. We loved everything about it and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Upon arrival, my friend and I decided that we wanted to stay for another night so we talked to John about it and although there wasn’t any availability at his hotel, he helped us find another hotel in the area. He went above and beyond his duties and for that, my friend and I were very thankful!

Avantatges: This family run hotel was fabulous in every way. Staff, views, cleanliness, position and food were all excellent.

Desavantatges: Twin single beds pushed together rather than one queen bed.

Avantatges: Great location in Positano, just moments from the path which takes you down the hill to the beach (10 minute walk). Staff were so friendly and provided beach hotels when we went to the beach. Recommend the restaurant next to them, 'Bruno' for food and also walking to the beach next to Positano which is less busy. It is 2/3 minute walk from Sita Bus stop so is easy to get to.

Nosotros llevamos coche, y lo metimos en el garaje del que disponen por un precio asequible, ademas fueron muy flexibles la mañana del check-out con el coche para que pudieramos visitar un poco mas Positano. Totalmente recomendable.

The room was very clean and cleaned again the next morning even though we had only been there a few hours. Lucia and her family were so friendly, kind and helpful. We hope to return soon.

Avantatges: La amabilidad de la dueña y su personal, hay que subir muchas escaleras, pero así es Positano, para todos los hospedajes hay que subir muchas escaleras. Casa Maresca esta muy bien ubicada, la playa Fornillo esta a 5 minutos, hay buenos restaurantes cerca, la habitación es amplia, muy limpia, nos encantó , volveremos por seguro, 100% recomendable.

Avantatges: Excellent location with lovely two balconies with view to the sea and village. The rooms were very clean. The property is a 10 minute walk from the town. Two options to walk - around the road or down the stairs. Wherever you stay in Positano you will have stairs and that is all part of the experience. 450 steps to the public beach or beach club. Delicatessen near accommodation serves wonderful antipasto food and drinks that you can enjoy on your balcony. Recommend if feeling fit to do the Path of the Gods walk from Bomerano to Positano. Amazing views and walking on farm tracks. Also the walk from Ravello to Amalfi is worth it.

Avantatges: Our host Lucia was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location is just perfect, 5 minute walk to small free beach though the walk back up via lots of steps is a bit challenging. Short walk into town centre and lots of great restaurants and shops very close by. The apartment has everything you need and a lovely big deck to sit and look at the ocean after a day’s exploring. Couldn’t recommend it more highly

I had a single room which was fine and the bed comfortable. I also really enjoyed the restaurant for dinner too - well worth a visit while staying here.!

Avantatges: This hotel is just so beautiful. The second we stepped foot into the lobby and saw the flooring and friendly staff we were so happy we decided to stay here. The front desk helped us multiple times with Recommendations on where the locals eat and things to do. Very pleased with the view we got and balcony and in the perfect location

Desavantatges: The breakfast provided was simple. Lots of pastries and pies. Scrambled eggs would have been nice to offer instead of hard boiled but it’s complimentary so you can’t beat that

Avantatges: We loved our stay here - from the moment we arrived the staff made us so welcome. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was very effective and the view from our balcony was exquisite (we paid extra for a sea view room). The breakfasts were absolutely amazing with a wide selection of freshly made pastries and cakes, fruit, cereal, eggs...basically anything you could possibly want! The hotel is well located about a ten minute walk away from Spiaggia Grande (the main beach) where you can take ferries along the coast and over to Capri. Overall, a wonderful hotel.

Avantatges: The location of this hotel is fantastic - many great restaurants nearby, a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the beach (either by stairs, or our favourite, down the road and through the quaint alleyways full of shops). The view from the room is something else - absolutely exquisite. We even had a view from our bathroom! It was lovely to have a drink on our balcony before heading out to dinner. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and very keen to assist with any bookings or questions you have. Breakfast was fantastic also. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Avantatges: The room was very comfortable and the view was amazing! Breakfast had a good selection and you could order proper espresso coffee. The stairs down to the beach are right outside the hotel which was extremely handy, we ended up walking back on the road instead of the stairs though which didn't take long at all. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Cuando llegamos, nos recibieron con muchas explicaciones y recomendaciones (de playas, restaurantes...), la recepcionista era muy simpática y decía que la mitad del pueblo eran sus parientes, así que buenos precios! Jajaja. Nos ayudaron a reservar mesa en un restaurante y te facilitan el tema del parking (que cuesta 28 euros al día) porque puedes dejar el coche en la puerta del hotel y vienen a recogerlo, y cuando lo necesitas te lo traen a la puerta. Es comodisimo! Me he sentido como en casa y en un sitio espectacular como Positano, recomiendo 100% este hotel. Grazie per tutto! <3

Avantatges: It’s in a good location, only 300 stairs till you reach the town centre, witch is good for Positano. Staff on the terrace and pool was also nice.

Desavantatges: I didn’t like Francesca’s attitude when I asked how come a 4 star hotel doesn’t have a shuttle and I had to pay 10€ for every lugage to another company, to be taken to the port. She replied ironically that she will let all the 4 stars hotels in Positano, know my oppinion. I also didn’t like the room, as it was dirty as you can see in the pictures, bathroom needs a refurbishment and someone has to clean the sunbeds as well. Not to say that if you are unlucky you can have a view of the street from the tiny balcony, and hear every car passing by, and every voice on the street.

Avantatges: We could not speak more highly of our experience at Hotel Punta Regina. The location was a short walk from everything. The views from the room and from the breakfast/pool area were breathtaking. The staff were amazing and really friendly. They suggested great places to go and eat and made you feel at home. We will definitely be coming back and staying here in the future.

Avantatges: Such a fantastic view on the terrace, love the location, very clean and big room, very good service of the staff. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommendable.

Avantatges: The breakfast was amazing - full of choices for everyone (eggs, yogurt, bread, freshly-made espresso drinks). The location of the breakfast was breath-taking and the staff was kind and very informative.

Avantatges: The staff was amazing with my 2-year-old son. They made us feel very welcomed and at home. They were eager to help and the view from the pool was amazing. Having breakfast on-site every day was a joy. The room was spacious and beautiful. We spent more than usual for a room but after leaving we knew it was the right choice.

Desavantatges: I wish that we had known that even though we had a balcony in our room, that it was viewing the main street and not the ocean. Maybe this was on oversight on my behalf, but if we ever manage to make it back I would ask for a room on the second or third-floor instead.

Avantatges: The view from our room was amazing! The room itself was a great size and the added extras including robe, flip flops and toiletries were excellent. The pool and terrace and drinks were excellent, as were the staff who helped us arrange our itinerary for the stay and held our cases when we arrived earlier than check in. Wish we'd had longer at the hotel to enjoy it!

Desavantatges: It was expensive but you pay for what you get and that was the amazing views!

Desavantatges: The staff were not always responsive, in the evening in particular. There was no coffee or tea in the room (or facilities to make it), the hair dryer was useless, there was no conditioner (these are the basics I expect).

Avantatges: We were upgraded and our suite was amazing with the most beautiful view of the sea and Positano. It was our wedding anniversary so it was very special.

Desavantatges: More vegetarian options at breakfast

Avantatges: Absolutely wonderful hotel is the stunning Hotel Marincanto. From the jaw dropping views at every glimpse to the most attentive staff, this hotel is an absolute standout in Positano! The rooms are spotlessly clean with abundant extra towels and toiletries. The front desk are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay in Positano be whatever your heart should want or need! Fantastic work guys! The dine in staff are always very friendly and Lisa was so lovely and made our breakfasts a joy. Buffet breakfast was superb! And with the gobsmaking views at breakfast and the magical ambience at dinner in their beautiful Alfresco restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and twinkling lights of Positano, Hotel Marincanto is what dreams are made of!! The horizon pool is breathtaking with cocktails served to you at the click of a finger. I cannot say enough about this place and dream one day we will be back! Thankyou Hotel Marincanto I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Positano you were a vacation without having to leave your property! Ten out of ten from 2 very happy guest’s!!

Avantatges: The Staff was very Happy in servicing us and all the guests. Anna, Lisa and Rosa were delightful in servicing us at breakfast every morning with a huge smile and offering us our favourite morning beverage (Cappuccino's). The Buffet Breakfast exceeded our expectations and will amaze most guests. Luigi and Toni at the Swim up Bar were very pleasant and always joking with us and making our trip fantastic. The Rooms were super cute and the property was very well maintained not to mention the Amazing views. Their was not a bad view from the Marincanto. I strongly suggest a visit to this Gem of a property, you will be pleasantly surprised as we were. Enjoy Everyone!

Desavantatges: I can't seem to find anything wrong at all with this property, like I said this privately owned Hotelier offers, great food, wonderful Service and Amazing views, not to mention the infinite pool is so refreshing to jump into and the views from it are spectacular.

Avantatges: Pros: First hotel experience on the Amalfi coast very conveniently located next to spaggia grande beach so you can head down the steps built into the cliff easily for your day at the beach! Shopping and food area conveniently located at the main road. Rooms are beautiful with the balcony view of classic picturesque positano. Breakfast was so yummy and they have adorable house cats

Desavantatges: Cons: the toilet lights were flickering and spoilt and we Called them to fix it however they ran out of lightbulbs and said the shops were close. I would suggest you keep some in storage or at least offer to change hotel rooms for us otherwise we would have to shower in the dark and not everyone likes it! No kettle for boiling our own water - which I needed for my sore throat. Had to go to the kitchen repeatedly to ask for hot water

Avantatges: Best Hotel I have stayed in Italy. The location is superb! you have the best view of Positano. The pool and sun deck was absolutely amazing. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean with amazing views. Buffet breakfast was great with a huge selection of food. The hotel has it's own private beach down the bottom which you need to pay for (well worth it though). Only a short walk to the town restaurants. Very Very happy!! Hotel Marincanto we will definitely be back!!

Avantatges: The view and location were spectacular! The pool, SUCH a great bonus and plenty great places to chill out for the day! Very relaxing! Our room was super big too with the most amazing shower and bath! This is a beautiful hotel!

Desavantatges: My only complaint is the staff must be a little spread thin, as there were plenty times we were left waiting around for some time. The staff that worked there however are very kind and courteous! I feel they were likely doing the best they could. Oh! And the cat was pooping in our courtyard haha! Not great, but it’s gotta poop somewhere right?

I have stayed in many 4 stars hotel, they don't charge you for your daily 2 small bottle of water, this should be within the room service for free! Dining in the hotel at night is very expensive, extremely small portions, no atmosphere, rude staff!

Avantatges: This place is amazing. Staff is truly top notch. Even for a world wide scale, staff was exceptional. Views were insane, location amazing. Was worried being on the beach would sacrifice views - but didn’t at all!! This is the hotel to stay at.

Avantatges: My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights during a 2week vacation in Italy. The location is literally right on the beach. If you’re vacationing in Positano, then be prepared to do a lot of walking but this hotel’s location spares you from the dreaded walks up and down a million stairs. The hotel is walking distance from beach clubs, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was perfectly delicious. The staff are wonderful and friendly and made us feel welcomed. I had been emailing the hotel for weeks prior to our stay for assistance with boat tours, restaurant reservations etc and the staff especially Clara assisted and accommodated us with any and all requests. We actually stayed in more than one room category and even a standard room with only a standing balcony is more than adequate and beautiful with stunning views. Also, you must have dinner at the hotels’s restaurant- the food is DELICIOUS and the service exceptional.

Avantatges: Very helpful and friendly staff, we arrived before our check in time and they organised for us to have a shower and freshen up as we went exploring (leaving our bags at the hotel). It is right on the beach and our room had great views of Positano.

Not to mention the prime location where the beach is about a 7 minute walk, maybe less but the view is so breathtaking you may take more time to take it all in

Avantatges: I highly recommend Villa Delle Palme. Beautiful, clean accomodation, located a short walk from the main port of Positano. Perched a top the hill and amongst some of the best restaurants, we enjoyed lovely meals and views always. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Avantatges: The staff were amazing. Spoke perfect English and were so kind and caring! We had a transfer to the airport early in the morning and guiliana made us breakfast and coffee before we left for our flight. Thank you for everything ❤️❤️

Avantatges: Amazing location in Positano. 1 min walk to the beach, very little steps. We stayed in a large studio, decent size room with a view of the ocean and small patio. We were here for a week on our honeymoon and excellent hotel for a long term stay. There is a small market below the hotel to buy wine, food etc. The room had small kitchen to make breakfast each morning. The room was nice; however beds are in fact hard, as noted in other reviews, but location is worth it. Any other hotel is a huge walk from beach and restaurants. Overall, Positano was the highlight of our three week honeymoon. This hotel was excellent.

Desavantatges: Note about Posianto overall (not hotel) it’s crowded in peak season (June - Aug/early sept), beware of the crowds. Day tripping tourists flood the city on ferries every 20 minutes, the streets are packed. However, by 6 PM, all the day tourists disappear and the city is very enjoyable. While the hotel is in a great location, it’s also right in the thick of the tourists during the day. All the tourists congregate and take pictures right outside the hotel at the Church. Easy and simple remedy, have a plan for each day; go to beach, take a boat tour, go to beach club on the coast. Positano is flat out beautiful, most beautiful and best city on Amalfi coast, and this hotel is ideally located to capitalize on all of it, feel like a local. More Positano pro tips - Make a plan for each day. It’s very busy here. Make reservations at least a day or two in advance for boat tours, restaurants, beach clubs etc. The hotel can help with that, but you also need to do some research before and once you arrive.

Avantatges: The location was outstanding and having the little terrace over the church square was just wonderful, we were blessed to have 2 concerts and a beautiful wedding . It was spotless, well appointed and happy.

Avantatges: La ubicacion es la mejor! En el punto medio (5min) de los mejores restaurants/bares y de la playa. Benedetta y Cristiana super amables y muy buenas para asesorarnos y ayudarnos con reservas a restaurants y club de playa. Nosotros reservamos una habitacion economica - que era la unica disponible en ese momento - y aunque bien puesta y limpia me parecio un poco chica y no habia lugar donde poder abrir la valija - solo arriba de la cama, porque no entraba abierta en otro lado! Igual nada grave para 2 noches y la verdad que no estabamos en la habitacion en todo el dia. Fue el precio a pagar por semejante ubicacion. El bano super amplio en comparacion y con una buenisima ducha en caudal y presion. Los pasillos interiores del hotel podrian ser mas lindos, sin alfombra, mas iluminados y con mejor ventilacion ya que algunas veces se olia mucho a comida. Segun me dijo Benedetta tambien tienen departamentos por lo que algunas personas cocinan y esa es la causa. Estas son simplemente observaciones, quizas muy al detalle considerando que vienen de alguien que trabaja en esta Industria de Hoteleria & Turismo pero lo volveria a elegir! Creo que precio/calidad es una buenisima opcion, era la mejor en esta fecha definitivamente. Lo volveria a elegir!

Avantatges: The location is outstanding directly in the center of Positano next to the Church of Santa Maria Assunta. Consequently, not only one of the key sights in Positano is close to the hotel, but also a plenty of nice restaurants and small stores are nearby. In fact, the beach promenade is only a short walk away and the view from the room is amazing! Furthermore, the staff was always very nice and attentive (e.g., offered beach towels). Given the narrow streets in Positano and the even smaller alleys around the Villa Flavio Gioia we followed the suggestion of the hotel to directly head to the "Garage Parking Di Gennaro" on the day of arrival (walking distance from the hotel). We left the car there during the entire stay and took the ferry for day trips to other villages such as Amalfi. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that the "Sentiero degli Dei" hike is a nice alternative to the ferry on the way back from Amalfi to Positano.

Desavantatges: We were more than happy with the hotel (also, the hotel description was accurate, there was nothing unexpected and nothing to complain about). However, some thoughts on how to improve this already outstanding place: For us it was totally fine that there is no breakfast, since bakeries like the Collina Positano Bakery are nearby. Nevertheless, a small breakfast (e.g., italian coffee and cornetti/ pastry) would be nice.

Avantatges: I really like Linda and Dylan. They were waiting for us to arrive and parked out car. They recommended things to do while in Positano, offered us fruits and cake as soon as we settled in. The hotel has a nice porch and an amazing view of the mountains and the sea.

Avantatges: Es un hotel enclavado en un lugar privilegiado con vistas a la costa, en una de las laderas que rodean Amalfi. Es un sitio con encanto. Las habitaciónes están situadas a lo largo del jardín y sin autónomas del edificio principal, cada una con su pequeña terraza para disfrutar de las vistas. La decoración es moderna y cada detalle está cuidado. El baño perfecto. Para bajar a Amalfi hay servicio de autobús local y se puede ir andando. El desayuno es excelente con tartas caseras y fruto natural

Desavantatges: No es que no me guste, es parte del hotel y de su ubicación excelente pero el hecho de estar en una ladera implica subir escaleras. Para mí no ha sido un problema pero si alguna persona tiene problemas de movilidad esto puede ser un handicap.

Avantatges: The villa and staff are super great. You are completely in the mountains surrounded by fresh air and no noise from tourists, yet walking distance to Positano proper. Only qualm is that the bathrooms are a little outdated but I think all bathrooms in this region are like this so it is not outside of expectation. I really enjoyed all of the fruit trees and garden, the cakes they make with the figs are amazing, the breakfast is amazing and they make really good coffee upon request, major A+. Very nice spot! It is a true Italian villa and I recommend.

Desavantatges: Little disappointed the small pool had been filled / closed. However, very nice beach was so close this wasn't a big issue.

Avantatges: The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Its managed like a small family business so they really make you feel at home. The views are great since you are in retreat from the main city and also at a higher view point. Rooms is very spacious.

Desavantatges: Although the hotel is said to be 15min walk away from Positano center, it is still far from all the activities. The hotel itself is also a climb uphill once you arrive to the door (which allows a better view) but it becomes a sport and a struggle every time you are returning to the room. Another down point was the room had ant going around from the entrance of the room to all around the bathroom. We also got some mosquitoes in the room as we woke up with few more additional bites on our skin. We understand is part of the natural environment setting but I am sure there are actions that can be taken to ensure a cleaner room. There were no tissue box provided for the room. In addition, the hotel still has a learning curve to go through. The Wifi was barely working when you were on the bed (we believe the router was not well positioned and that wall were sufficiently thick to block to interfere connection. Overall, difficult to say that we enjoyed the stay but the positive staff has balanced the appreciation level.

Desavantatges: It would be a great resort with a pool, bar and restaurant - but doesn’t promise these and doesn’t have these. A pity.

Avantatges: Look no further. If you are full of energy, and up for an exciting stay, this is a gem hidden away from town. You can see Positano town from the patio, and the view is amazing. The hospitality team comprising of Linda, Salvatore and Dylan were spectacular. From the first moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcomed that we didn't hesitate to ask. Linda served us a fresh cold almond welcome drink and a couple of slices of capri cake. They also provided us a bottle of champagne as we had informed them earlier we were celebrating our honeymoon. On the first night, they also brought out some limoncello to share with us. Linda and team were eager to find out our daily plans and offered us help to book a cooking masterclass with an italian chef, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Every morning, we looked forward to the sumptuous breakfast. The variety isn't a big spread, but it is more than sufficient to take you through to lunch. The fresh produces were locally grown and very sweet. We have been told that the produces depends on the seasons and we have made it in time for the end of the nectarine season! Salvatore was kind to give us a lift to Positano town one day when we were about to head out to dinner. As we were about to leave, Linda also packed a small bag of chamomile tea leaves grown by her mum for our trip.

Desavantatges: It is such a hidden gem, it is easy to miss the entrance. It is hard for vehicles to stop on the road to unload luggages, just need to be mindful and patient. Also, the stairs to climb to this gem takes getting used to, be prepared to climb 150-200 steps to get to this beauty. But it was well worth it!

Avantatges: The property is amazing, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the view is breathtaking

Desavantatges: The only problem is that for someone that has difficulties to climb stars. There is a lot of steps to get to the property

Avantatges: An absolutely magical experience! And after staying at seven fabulous properties during a two-week holiday in Greece and Italy, that says a lot. The garden-feel is serene and breathtaking, and a welcomed oasis to return home to each day. The rooms were large, the beds perfectly comfortable and the breakfast absolutely superb. The private beach club just below the property ($20 euros per bed) was worth it's weight in gold. Other than overall vibe, what sets this place apart is the staff. Linda and Salvatore were special hosts and have become friends! Their caring hearts and vivacious personalities were ever-present, and they truly went out of their way numerous times to make sure we were taken care of during our trip. We hope to return in subsequent years to see our new friends and experience the joy that is Giardini Dei Sensi.

Avantatges: From our balcony we had the best view of any property I have stayed in anywhere in the world. The gardens were extensive and well kept. Great breakfast.

Avantatges: Salvatore was an absolute pleasure. He greeted us as soon as we arrived and provided us with great information like where to eat (and where not to eat), grocery store and how best to get around. He made the fluffiest cappuccino’s every morning and flakiest croissants. I even enjoyed working off the pizza and pasta with 130 steps every night because it was well worth the views. Grazie Salvatore, a presto!

Avantatges: Breathtaking view from the room. Pure magic!!! Very good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Excellent service.

Avantatges: The view was phenomenal. Lovely seating area for breakfast, both indoors and outside on the patio.readily assessable to the Path of the Gods, and the Key Hole.

Desavantatges: Transportation, extremely over crowded and irregular service by Positano bus service, but the price a person pays for outstanding vistas.

Avantatges: This place is amazing and would recommend anyone staying here. It's situated outside of Positano, but they're are regular buses down and up the hill that go from outside the front of the B&B - super easy! Really close to Path of the Gods too (which is incredible and a must do). Lovely staff and amazing public and private outdoor areas to chill and take in the awesome views.

Avantatges: Had such a lovely stay at La Ghiande. Up high in the mountains, we had beautiful views from our private balcony. It was very peaceful! The staff made us feel very welcomed. Make sure you ask to use the lift for your luggage instead of hauling them up 100 steps!

Desavantatges: The bed was quite hard, but with some added extra blankets it helped!

Avantatges: The breakfast is amazing, the location is unbelievable (though a little up there on the mountain, which makes the views so beautiful!) and the staff is very friendly. Love love love this place and will be back again

Avantatges: Everything was perfect! thank you very much! the welcoming drink and cake were amazing and we've never had it before in any hotel. it was so friendly, we forgot that we were tired. the greatest cappuccino ever in a designed mug. picturesque view on the sea & mountains, breakfast with this view is very good and home-made. I'd love to return to this paradise.

Avantatges: Everything! Good spacious room, very clean and comfortable, the service was the best we've had in Italy so far. Breakfast was really really good and is served in the room at the time you wish, which we thought was a great idea. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Avantatges: My husband and I just had the most wonderful vacation in Positano, at La Rosa dei Venti. All I can say is the fact that everything here was lovely, from the big spacious room, to the beautiful terrace with sea view, the nice and friendly personnel and the perfect location. I highly recommend it!

Avantatges: The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help and assist us. The location was perfect, it was out of the hustle and bustle but still close to amazing restaurants and shops. Very easy and quick walk down to the centre of Positano which was lovely to do. Fornillo beach is a 10 minute walk and the most beautiful one we visited. Much nicer than main beach and the water was beautiful.

Avantatges: The location in Fornillo was g8 . Away from hustle& bustle of Positano main beach.You felt like you were in a family home at the B &B . Breakfast plentiful / room with a magnificent view. Very private.

Desavantatges: View was ok. Extremely overpriced for what essentially is a room with an average view. We made the most of it by having breakfast on the terrace and staying until checkout VERY noisy. Thin walls, can hear neighbours constantly. Lots of traffic past the terrace. Not relaxing at all Tea and coffee making facilities but no milk, no nearby plug for the kettle and very hard, uncomfortable pillows

Avantatges: Peaceful and relaxing environment, very welcome after the bustle of the town centre of Positano. Breakfast on the room's balcony is a great touch. Hotel staff attentive and welcoming.

Desavantatges: A little walk from the town centre, which will be a common feature for many Positano hotels. Good restaurants nearby means that this isn't a major disadvantage for the evening.

Avantatges: Small and quiet with very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast on our balcony with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean.

Avantatges: I loved the balcony that faced the amalfi bay - and the breakfast room service so we could enjoy the breakfast outdoors everyday! The staff was so friendly and helpful, they were ready to help at all times.

Desavantatges: Be prepared to take many stairs to get to the beach or other parts of Positano!

Avantatges: The staff/owners are extremely helpful and very friendly. They couldn't have been nicer or made us more welcome. They brought our breakfast to our room each morning and we sat on the balcony looking out onto the sea, beautiful. The rooms were really clean and well decorated. I couldn't recommend this place enough!
