Avantatges: "Flight was good. The problem was the ticket purchased from Kayak was not as stated. Because there was a layover in Amsterdam, I was not able to check my bag all the way through to USA. AND I had to visit 5 counters to check bag, pay for bag at different counter and 3 other counters!"
Queixes: "It would have been better if the ticket I purchased was the one that I selected. It was not as advertised. I searched for ticket that was translatlantic with one checked bag. BUT kayak booked an ECONOMY LIGHT fare that required payment. It was not as advertised and a total head ache for check in."

Avantatges: "The crew was very professional in their manner and went the extra mile to make sure the passengers were happy and comfortable. Wine was free and they offered a Baileys with coffee service that was a nice touch."
Queixes: "Food was so so. I have had better airplane food. Boarding was not grouped by zones, so was a bit slower than usual."

Vimos que se cambió a la B34. El vuelo se retrasó 20min."
Queixes: "Ya que existe la app de KLM debería actualizar la puerta de embarque para evitar confusiones y stress. Y siempre la megafonía de los aeropuertos. No comprendo que con todos los adelantos que hay en audio, sigamos escuchando tan mal las megafonías y aquellos que hablan tengan tan mala dicción."

And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."

Queixes: "En Kayak habia pagado un extra para elegir asiento, pero no me lo reservaron a la hora de hace rato check in online, les recomiendo que no lo paguen y hagan check in las 30 hrs antes señaladas y elijan lugar o paguen el extra directo en la página de KLM."

Queixes: "Tanto a la ida como al regreso ese tramo fue con AirEuropa y el personal en aeropuerto no tienen la amabilidad correspondiente. En la idea me tocó problemas con uno de ellos y en el regreso vi que otros pasajeros les ocurrió lo mismo. Ni siquiera muestran sus nombres."

Took away headphones that I had stowed aside for a later time while taking a nap and gave it to another passenger - on a long haul business class flight. Poor service culture. Outbound flight was terrible. Six hour delay. No apologies. Rude telephone staff."

Avantatges: "The crew was kind and the flight ok. They wanted to charge me 120.00 USD for my one bag checked ONE WAY. 240.00 USD round trip for one checked bag!!!!! On their website it clearly states one free checked bag for ALL FLIGHTS xcept “discount” fares. No way to prove I purchased “basic”"
Queixes: "They lied. The website does not clearly state that you will be CHARGED FOR CHECKED BAGS. Warning!!"

Avantatges: "The crew was amazing. Very professional, kind, and accommodating."
Queixes: "The boarding check-in person was confusing. Anyone that didn't speak Spanish got in the wrong line. They didn't announce that there were two lines, one for A and one for B. So we were mistakenly directed to stand in the line for a Madrid flight, when we were going to Lisbon. They made the last minute call only in Spanish, so we all almost missed the flight. The landing was a bit rough with crosswinds."

Avantatges: "The fact that it was a direct flight."
Queixes: "First of all, I would like to start by saying that I flight with TAP very often. I guess you can check on your system. I had good experiences in the past and actually recommeded to friends/family. I hope this flight was an exception. A few things were not that good this time. 1) First of all, the online check-in wasn't working until a few hours before the flight, and I didn't even give me the option to choose my seat. Once in the plane, I noticed plenty of empty seats in several areas of the plane. I could have had a much better seat. Also, the fact that the price of the luggage in the ticket is not included is insane! They let you know right at the boarding area. Another 100 plus dollars in addition to the 1,6000 that I paid for the ticket. Incredible!! And they only gave us 15 dollars voucher!! 2) There was a 2 hours delay due to a storm in the south of the USA. Although I am fully understandable with the fact that this situation is out of hands for the TAP company, is it in their hands the care and wellbeing of their passengers. As previoulsy stated, I received a 15 dollars voucher to use becasue of the delay. At any airport, for any decent meal, you will pay a minimum of 25-30 dollars. All items are more expensive. While waiting in the gate to board, we were not offered with snacks, water, etc.. additionally, no announements or updates at all. 3) I had a very uncofortable situation with one of the filght attenders. Male, very tall, dark hair and dark skin. When distributing dinner, I found the way he approached me very disrespectul, ironic and dismissive. ZERO customer services and he is actually the face of TAP in these planes. Unaceptable. I have to look all the way up to him, he wouldn't make an effort to band a bit (of course, not completely) to at least try to hear what I was saying. He was requesting me to speak loud but he would not make a minimum effort to get close to me. His demeanor and attitude made me feel very upsted... abuse of power... to the pooint that I ended up not taking the meal. No manners at all. He should understand that after hours of waiting (check-in usual time plus the 2 hours delay) we were all very tired. Particularly at that timeof the day. Some of us where up for since earlyi in the moring and you could tell that most of the passengers were exhausted. The second we got into our seat, we all used our blankets and try to sleep. He was not empathetic or councious about that. I felt very uncomfortable. Both of the girls that were also in the back area of the plane, were also lacking manners and customer services. I don't know.. other times was much better."

Avantatges: "Punctuality, calm flight. I have been already too generous with my ratings, above!"
Queixes: "To buy a ticket on their site is a mess! Never intuitive, a terrible maze! TAP´s president should be required to buy one ticket each morning... May be the site would improve. Got a ticket with seats “free of charge” on the printed e-ticket, but had to pay for them at checkin. It seems to be a scam... There would be more, but i lost my patience with TAP."

Avantatges: "TAP Airlines did not fly this route for day and probably hired NEOS Airlines to fly as charter or contract this route only? NEOS Airlines is an Italian airline probably comparable to Southwest Airlines in the USA. It's a cattle car airline with no frills. Crew was very professional, food was actually good. A sandwich that was of course Italian ingredients. Seats were comfortable for the 3 hour flight."
Queixes: "Checking in and paying a $49 excesses baggage fee for I was better off paying a full fare. Discount fare, what a joke!Than finding out that TAP put me on standby status?? But I eventually got a seat. It was no relief thinking I would be left behind and my plans elude be delayed.TAP airlines had only worked the front desk check in, gate check in and don't know about the ramp service. So I can't give a full positive review of TAP Airlines"

Avantatges: "food and comfort was okay.."
Queixes: "Outbound flight - Miami check -in personal was extremely unfriendly for no reason - got charged $160 - although have not received an upgrade - the connection flight had 3h delay- resulted and 8h waiting time at the Lisbon airport after an already 10h flight"

Avantatges: "They broke my bag, it took them over 3 months to answer my complaint and then they said that the Manufacturer would take care of it. On top of that they made me pay to check on my bag for each flight, including connections, and they didn’t even reimburse that"

Queixes: "Kayak needs to inform us passengers that the price doesn’t include checked in luggage. It’s a very unpleasant surprise to find out that one has to pay 180$ on top only to have luggage. That’s unacceptable"

Avantatges: "Average"
Queixes: "Theo lost my luggage the plane was full of dust"

Avantatges: "Lots of legroom. On board crew was good."
Queixes: "Check-in was a little bit chaotic."

Avantatges: "the flight was fine."
Queixes: "The 70 euro luggage fee was a bit excessive. The delay and subsequent missing of my connecting flight that resulted in a 11 hour layover and a 10 euro voucher was pretty lame. TAP Portugal customer service leaves a bit to be desired"

Avantatges: "Of no change is BULLSHIT"

Queixes: "Business barely distinguishable from economy, except for the food which was excellent"

Avantatges: "Food, seats, flight attendants & in flight entertainment were all very good."

Avantatges: "Seats were comfortable in economy although no one is ever happy with how little they recline, crew was friendly and helpful. Entertainment selection was larger than most airlines I've flown on."
Queixes: "Flight left Toronto at midnight, the crew served a meal and it was about 2 hours after departure that the cabin lights were finally turned off. On an overnight, overseas flight, turn off the lights and service breakfast with a noon arrival like all the flights I've taken to London do."

Queixes: "The delay on the take off"

Avantatges: "I liked that the flight price included a breakfast snack and beverages. I also liked that there was okebty if leg room"
Queixes: "I was charged 35 euros for my luggage (the desk attendant told me it was 25 euros) and I was told that if I wanted to claim my baggage during my 24-hour layover I would be charged the baggage price again. I did not receive an option to pay for my luggage when I purchased my ticket and could not find information on TAP's page about luggage fees."

Avantatges: "I couldn't have been more impressed. Great food and drink and service. Terrific entertainment options and a comfortable ride across the Atlantic."

Avantatges: "it had a feet support the toilet was big it was airplane food, still better than most companies I know from Europe, Asia and the USA."
Queixes: "the head rest was too hard"

Avantatges: "Nothing"
Queixes: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Avantatges: "The ride was comfortable, and the crew was attentive and pleasant. I loved the fact that i had a 10 hour layover, and I could go out into the city and do some sight seeing. This is not to the Airlines credit per say, but it was super easy. I enjoyed getting off on the tarmac just 200 feet from the building, was a nice sunny day."
Queixes: "The seats did not have entertainment system that I wasn't going to watch anyways. The seats did not have charging ports either (for phone or laptop), which several airlines now a days are making standard."

Avantatges: "seat very comfortable...excellent entertainment choices"
Queixes: "crew were Zombies at best....invisible otherwise.....food and beverage choices abyssmal"

Avantatges: "Very pleasant flight."

Avantatges: "Food was excellent, and the cabin crew extremely nice and attentive. Amenities kit was adorable too!"
Queixes: "We were in first class, and no On Demand IFE!!! You do have a personal screen in the seatback, but they only play continual loop movies. For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable."

Queixes: "Excessive baggage fees on 2 connector flights TAP BUT TICKETS BOUGHT SEPARATE."

Avantatges: "The movie selection was good."
Queixes: "Food was pretty bad, the flight attendant was unfriendly, which is unlike any Portuguese we have met in our trip, maybe she was just having a bad day."

Avantatges: "The service they provided us reminded us of how airlines used to treat their customers in the past. Meals were provided as was entertainment (there were individual tv screens for us to watch movies on) all for no additional cost to us. From the customer service to the services provided and the legroom on the flight -- everything was more than what we expected and we would consider flying TAP Portugal again."

Avantatges: "The flight was mostly ok minus squeezing in seats. Crew was delightful. Delay lowered my rating."
Queixes: "Severe delay. Almost missed connection."

Avantatges: "took forever to get to international I am elderly and I was totally wiped out no help anywhere, on the flight itself only the steward was nice the ladies were very grumpy and never smiled."

Queixes: "NO Options for vegetarians. main curse and snacks were with meat. SANDWITCH WITH MEAT"

Avantatges: "I know the flight between Lisbon and Amsterdam is only 3 hours, but it could have been better. First, boarding was a mess because no one could hear announcements being made. Once on the plane, things only got worse. I'm a small person- only 5'4" and even I had no leg room! This was made worse when the seat in front reclined- very claustrophobic. There were also zero entertainment options."
Queixes: "It was nice that they served light snacks even though it was a short flight."

Avantatges: "On time, good service."

Avantatges: "Great crew, gently made sure we had our masks on."
Queixes: "Boarded some passengers very early and had to wait on bus and plane for other passengers who boarded at normal time."

Queixes: "I was not familiar with Transavia before this trip. It is a discount airline. ‘Nuff said. I guess I understand now why the ticket was so cheap..."

Queixes: "No free food or at least water. You need to pay for everything. High air fare, No seat LCD TV, No wifi. Worst airline ever"

Avantatges: "Nos perdieron las maletas. Éramos un grupo de 16 y metieron 13 maletas de mano en la bodega. Nos llegaron 9 al día siguiente, 1 al siguiente, 2 las tuvimos que recoger en el aeropuerto y 1 no ha vuelto a aparecer"

Avantatges: "Both of our experience to an from Alicante via Amsterdam has been an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the transfers went without a hitch. I would recommend KLM to anyone to fly with."

Avantatges: "Inexpensive fares are worth something. Where else can you fly half way across the EU for 150 euro? The crew was cheerful and helpful. Website, phone app and email reminders are great."
Queixes: "You do pay alacarte for everything. And service suffers in the name of low price. Checked bags, drinks and food. Be prepared to walk or stand everywhere, baggage check-in at Orly is in the basement and the last areas 132. The gates are the last gates in the south terminal. And when you get to the gate boarding is done enmasss so you wait in line. But the fares are cheap."
