The person checking me in couldn't validate my passport, Really?? At every other airline the checkin person validates your passport."

Queixes: "I went jfk to mallorca through Madrid. Upon arrival to Madrid the passport control was 2hrs so we and a lot of other people missed connections. At the Iberia counter we were put on the next flight out to mallorca, that seemed to be no problem (FYI bags will be late and you may too since iBeria ‘must’ keep thee on time global record) , other than our bags came a day later. UPON arriving 20 days later for our return trip they said our return trip was cancelled because of a ‘no show’ on our original inbound trip. They said they had no proof we were on the next flight and asked for our Receipts to prove it. Said we had to buy new tickets, after 2 hrs, crying, yelling and most of Iberia telling us there was nothing they could do (told us to call BA since they were the co share for them) we finally got a high enough supervisor and they put us on the return flights. I’m sure we would have had to buy new tix if the flights were full. Have been overseas many times and this never happened. Will not use a 3rd party online ticket agency again- will go direct to airline, and not Iberia."

They brushed off my questions with one word answers and then it turned out that we were 10 minutes late arriving and I missed my connection. The customer service people who were supposed to re-book me, actually tried to blame me for missing the connection! Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

Queixes: "No pudimos volar a Miami nuestro destino final,porque al llamar a Iberia desde Venecia(horas antes que saliera nuestro vuelo),para informales que por llegar a bordo de un crecuro y no permitrisele a este entrar al puerto por motivos de la neblina,no llegariamos a tiempo a nuetro 1er vuelo con ellos,y nos dijeron que perdiamos la posibilidad de tomar este segundo al otro dia,17 horas despues,donde solo nos ofrecieron la posiibilidad de otro para 3 dias despues y a un precio demasiado alto,nos sentiemos muy poco ayudados y muy disgustados con esta aeorolinea."
Queixes: "Al llamar a Iberia(horas antes de nuestro vuelo)para informarles que por llegar a Venecia a bordo de un crucero y este no poder entrar a puerto en hora por motivos de la neblina y por esa razon no poder llegar en tiempo nosotros al vuelo,nos dijeron que no podiamos volar con ellos desde el vuelo de Madrid al otro dia a Miami y solo nos ofrecieron otro vuelo para 3 dias despues y con un precio bastante alto,conclusion que siendo una compania tan reconocida poco nos ayudaron, por no decir practicamente en nada,"

Unless I hear that this flight was unique I won’t ever fly level again no matter how discounted the airfare"

The seats are too close together leaving no leg room for this six footer to sit with any comfort level. We won't do that again."

Avantatges: "The extra leg room in the exit row. In spite of the fact we had to pay extra for it, it was well worth it. The crew was courteous and professional. The flight was on time."

At the time of making the booking,your website didn't show how & where to pay for Che k in baggage but when I checked in at the airport I had to pay 60 euros each for check in baggage when I had paid only $50 for the airfare. I think it's highway robbery to charge so much for checkbin baggage by deceiving passengers of not providing the option to pay half the price at the time of purchasing the ticket. I would never book another ticket through your site & will make sure I tell everyone to do the same. I had worse experience ever."

If it WAS disclosed it certainly wasn't in plain site on the mobile app. I checked back on the app to see if I had missed it disclosed somewhere but I still couldn't see it. So it's almost false advertising. Kayak should protect its users. Also, our checked bag that we paid the extra money for arrived late! After our flight was delayed over an hour by the way! Kayak should protect its customers better. Or at least make sure they're informed"

Queixes: "The flight coming in was delayed so we were too late to make our connection - although we were told repeatedly that we would make it and that our connection to NY would be held for us. We ran for catch our flight only to find out that it had already taken off. No one we spoke to in Madrid was helpful (in fact, they were rather dismissive) until we finally spoke to a rep at customer service who provided us with our new flight (the next day with another airline) and our hotel arrangements"

Para un vuelo de estas características y duración (1:30h), lo suyo hubiera sido, al menos, darnos algo de desayunar, cosa que no ocurrió. Para remate llegamos 15 minutos tarde."
Avantatges: "After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about our flight. The crew was efficient, considerate and well spoken. The airplane was clean, entertainment good, and even the two meals were decent. I would recommend based on the flight."

Soy viajero Suma Platinum y la nueva configuración de asientos es horrible, parece un Vueling pero con precio de línea regular. Se están equivocando con el planteamiento o desde luego no es válido para los viajeros frecuentes."
Queixes: "We board to the plane via a bus. we were at the bus waiting to go to the plane for more than 10 minutes. A bit long, specially if you have been travelling already for a long time....like me (I was coming from Miami).The bus is not too comfortable....you have to stay still on your feet with a lot of people"
Avantatges: "They leave me in Santo Domingo with no reason and no phone to call and solve the problem. That cause problems with my job. They don't have customer service to help people in this case."

Queixes: "Muy mal los precios de wifi, 7€ 10mb?, 13€ 20mb, 20€ 50mb, precios y megas no tienen sentido, quien los puso no tiene conocimiento de lo que es 1 mb y de como se gasta.. Simplemente con abrir el movil y actualizar notificaciones sms, wasap y alguna foto puedes superar los 100nb sin a ver tocado el movil.."

They made me wait forever on the plane when we landed and then insisted I just try to walk down the stairs, I almost tripped trying before they finally called for the assistance truck to get me off the plane. I was very uncomfortable by their lack of willingness to help."

We had to go back downstairs my wife pushing cart with her cane. Also we did not know that we had to pay for extra bags. There was no fees coming so I assumed there was none going back. $120 euros for 2 bags. Almost as much as the flight. I had no choice but to 120 euros without warning"

Avantatges: "The price was very reasonable. Despite delayed takeoff and boarding area lacking clear instructions, flight boarded quickly and made up most of the lost time. Other flights and trains in Italy seemed to be delayed too!! (not operated by Volotea)! I did pay extra in advance for baggage and printed out boarding cards before leaving USA for Italy. Familiarize yourself with the rules. Ate a sandwich on board, good enough and friendly flight attendants."
Queixes: "I had over 100 Euro extra charges on arrival at the airport that i did not expect. It makes it very difficult to compare flights when the actual cost is buried in fine print. If airlines would not charge such excessive fees for luggage, then their would be room in the overhead space; i wouldn't have to rush to get a seat; and security lines would be much shorter..."

Queixes: "Was charged more than quadruple the ticket price for my luggage (one large and two small carry one between me and my wife). The airport was awful. Communication around boarding was non existent. We waiting in a awkward line blocking the entrance to to the terminal this everyone had to push through our line to get to their fate. Once on the plane, I was in the emergency exit row which I understand comes with some extra rules and responsibility however on Volotea that means no headphones, no baggage under the chair in front of you, they even made me take my baseball cap off and put it in the overhead. Landing was rough too. Overall aweful experience."

Numerous little fees on top of boarding pass. Rough flight, which was followed by a plane wide applause once landing."

Queixes: "Way we boarded a b all together sucked. Why have 2 groups when its first come first in. Wait in airport no seats then stand in a hot bus move to a hot plane and pay 2.50 for water long after flight started . Waters should be given as soon as you sit down in such conditions"

Queixes: "When i read the baggage rate, its only 20 euro, when i got there its 40 euro the lady told me its cheaper on line cuz i was there 6 hours early. I didnt know that i have to buy the baggage ahead of time. It would be nice if its highlighted in red when i bought the tix. Also i had to pay extra 30 euro bec i didnt chk in on line, seriously? What is the point of having a chk un counter? Also i was told to come back 2 hours before my flight . As i said i was there 6 hours eatly, when i came back the chk in on line is already closed. Im sure its a common problem , a lot if ppl paid extra and were complaining, they could have told us or have a sign there. Dont u think 30 euro is a lot to pay for not chking in? Is it only in europe? Its better when we book that ppl shld be warn of the pronlem, i paid extra 210 euro bec there are 3 of us plus the internet there suck at the airport , if you get in on the internet in 2 mins you are out or cant get in gor hours"

Queixes: "I booked an afternoon flight on Volta. They changed me weeks later to a morning flight. I told them I wanted to cancel my earlier flight and preferred a refund instead. I have never received credit for my cancellation."

Queixes: "They took me and my wife's carry on, that we had already stored in the over head cabins on 3 flights before this one and told me it was to big. Then they made me pay 120 Euros and asked me to take the bag out to the plane. When I got to the plane the men working with the suitcases said my bag was more than capabale of fitting overhead and let me take it up. So they charged me 120 Euros extra for nothing and only did this once they saw my American Passport."

Avantatges: "I cancelled the trip because in reading the fine print, I found the cost of checking a single small bag almost as much as the cost of the flight itself. Cancellation was accepted but took some effort to do it."

Queixes: "Waited to board for 1 hour- no seat assignments- price to pay for checked baggage increases by the hour as your departure nears. The price for a checked bag was €42 at 10am and when I checked again at 11:30am, price was €55!"

Queixes: "Volotea is a low cost airline that charges for early seat assignments, printing boarding passes, luggage and drinks on the flight. There is a service charge added to everything. It isn't as low cost as it initial appears. Beware"

Queixes: "The Volotea website was very poorly run and thus, we accidentally booked the flight on the wrong date, due to the way the calendar was loaded on the site. We entered the correct date, but somehow we still received flights for 5 days after the date we needed. We tried to change them at the airport, and after being sent to 2 different ticket counters, we ended up paying an additional $420 to get the flights we needed. Therefore, each flight from Athens to Mykonos was over $400 each. It was ridiculous and I will NEVER fly this airline again."

Queixes: "Hidden fees everywhere with this airline as well as smaller than usual carry-on requirements. My carry-on that fit everywhere else but cost me an extra 40 euros to check with this airline. Also a young women was told at the check-in counter that her carry-on was acceptable but at the gate was told different. They then preceded to demand 60 euros cash as a penalty. Just wasn't right."

Avantatges: "Volotea flight was good and I would fly Volotea again but checking in at the Santorini Airport is Chaos for all airlines Santorini Airport needs to organize the check in area with better barriers especially for the very long line of psgrs lining up for security Without barriers it's unclear where the line ends and where those joining the line should go therefore causing a lot of confusion and people trying to bud in"
Avantatges: "We printed the boarding passes a week prior and we were ready to go! However Volotea emailed us 24 hours prior to tell us some information had changed and we had new boarding passes. We were worried that we had to pay extra as we were already traveling and could not print the new boarding passes. It was no problem! We downloaded the app and the crew just scanned the app boarding passes. It was a huge relief."

They changed our seats, because they 2 people previous to us were too elder to seat at emergency exit. So we got stuck seating at emergency exit and away from our children! Who will put the emergency mask on my children now in case of emergency Volotea airline ?! Learn your job as flight attendant!"
Avantatges: "Errrm...that we actually got to Palermo alive, that was nice."
Queixes: "Kind of sneaky with the hand luggage, you may well have the guidelines in small print somewhere, but you really should allow people to check their bags in online before the flight, as opposed to paying 80 euro per bag, so 160 euros for two bags that didn't even weigh 10kgs each. RyanAir would have been able to fly us the same trip for that alone, with bags! Then when we were boarding, both of our seats were taken - the flight attendant said "Welcome to Italy". So, that's our story. In a nutshell, overpriced, and didn't get the seats on our boarding passes..."

Queixes: "They overbooked the flight. We were a party of eight and half of us got to go on the 12pm flight and myself my husband and 2 children had to wait! We were told we could get on a 4pm flight and were rebooked for a 9pm flight!! Then they lost all my luggage and when I did get it we only got 2bags! My kids while suitcase went missing for two days! Totally unacceptable! Worse thing is the lack of direction to handle the situation. Their answer was by law were allowed to overbook! Seriously! I know this is true but these airlines should. It be allowed to do that it’s disruptive to people’s lives that have paid money to be on these flights. So our 4day vacation is now down to 3 and of those 3days we spent one day waiting on partial delivery of our luggage!"

Avantatges: "Nothing, I was no allowed to check in online, at kiosk and was told to wait in line while employees did not address my concerns, was stuck in a line behind an irate customer for over 40 minutes and missed check in closing the flight by 3 minutes while I did not have any bags and I was forced to buy a new ticket with cash at office for following day at airport and extend my hotel and miss my group meeting in Croatia."
Queixes: "The entire experience, employees did not listen, the counters were not manned, I was blocked by an irate customer who missed his flight the previous day . I was in line over an hour to check and was not allowed to check in before they closed my flight at 5:23 behind a customer who was yelling. I spent the next 3 hours yelling in Spanish trying to get rescheduled o a flight, was forced to pay in cash and file a form . Not great help when there was about 200 people in the customer service line"
Avantatges: "The airline decided to change the plane so everyone could not fit. As a result, we have been changed to a new flight but a different airport. This is an incredibly poor airline and this type of service should not be allowed nor acceptable."
Queixes: "Flight was 2 hours late. Incredibly messy boarding procedure. Then they kept everyone in the plane for more than one hour with no air conditioning. Crew had to open the aircraft doors to let some air into the cabin."

No son capaces ni de dar una explicación de algún retraso, no figura en los monitores la puerta de salida con 10 minutos antes del horario previsto, supongo que AENA también es culpable de todos estos desastres. Repito : debería dejar de existir una compañía que vulnere tanto los derechos del consumidor ( no entiendo como no ha quebrado )"

Avantatges: "This was the worst boarding process we’ve ever experienced. It wouldn’t take much effort or common sense to bring some order to it. Ridiculous!! Also, as others have said, they really get you on the baggage fees, and push you by email to check in early and charge you for it. We waited until a few days prior to check in for free, but then we were unable to sit together... We did arrive on time and the flight went very smoothly."

They could have waived the suitcase through or offered to upgrade me to Priority, but they preferred to make an example of a passenger. They make you parade with your suitcase to the front of the line to "prove it." I will not fly on Ryanair again."

En fin , el peor viaje con diferencia en avión, lo unico positivo el aterrizaje,bien hecho, pero una gran kk ryanair"

Queixes: "Llegamos 2 minutos tarde a la.puerta de embarque ya que la azafata de tierra nos indicó una puerta errónea, al,llegar no nos dan ningún tipo de solución ya que para acceder al avión era necesario ir en autobús, nos dejan en tierra, acudimos al mostrador y nos proponen cambiar el billete a mañana por el módico precio de 100e y tenemos 1h para comprarlo, hemos terminado comprando otro billete con Iberia al precio del billete completo y haciendo escala en otra cuidad por no perder nuestra noche de hotel de hoy también y el día de coche de alquiler, gracias Ryanair, nunca volveremos a contratar sus servicios"
