Avantatges: "A quick, quiet and relaxing flight - no stress at all. The flight was uneventful. My carry on bag had to be stored in the bottom of the aircraft as the overhead lockers in the aircraft are small. As such - just before you board the aircraft, you place your carryon bag at the bottom of the steps and then when you get off at your destination, you collect your carry on bag at the bottom of the steps - no time wasted and worked easily."

Avantatges: "The crew were friendly and helpful and the flight arrived early, even though we left a little bit late - as such - I was very happy with the flight. The onboard entertainment system was wifi based and there was a USB charging port in the seat too - modern aircraft."

Queixes: "Arriving at the gate whilst the flight was still boarding, with a boarding pass in my hand, and being told that my seat had been given to someone else because the Airline unilaterally decided that my connecting flight from Bogotá would not arrive in time. Followed by two hours of Iberia staff being surly, not looking me in they eye and doing absolutely nothing about getting me home. I have now been travelling for nearly 30 hours without sleep, am stuck in Madrid with no certainty of when or how I will get home or see my luggage again, and am seriously seriously pissed off. I do accept that things can sometimes go wrong and that it is nobody’s fault. This is definitely somebody’s fault."

Queixes: "Checking in and dropping off luggage was a nightmare... There was no one at the check in desks indicated on the screens or the check in terminals. Eventually I found a desk at a different location that would take my bag. Boarding was chaotic, no lines, just a crowd blocking access. Even passengers with small children couldn't get through. Space between seats was minimal. Crew was ordering passengers to take headphones off during security demo. I understand it is important to be attentive, but ultimately you shouldn't be forced to."

Queixes: "A 2330 Flight ran significantly late with a passenger delay and then de-icing. The repeated assurances of “a 10 minute or so delay” were obviously not correct. Takeoff close to 0100 was followed by drinks AND then food - my vote would be neither. Please oh please just let us sleep."

Avantatges: "Key to long haul flight is keeping everyone happy without forcing them to sleep. On a westbound flight arriving at night you want to get on the target timezone asap, this flight is the FIRST that really allowed me to do that without conflicting with people who don't know how to manage jet lag. The dimmable large windows and comfortable seat make it more comfortable. A/V with 3D map, online lunch ordering, being able to see outside without the bright sun bothering anyone, all worked well. +100 I was skeptical of the a la carte food & beverage service, without any regular service, especially on a long haul flight, but it seems to be much less hassle for stewards and frees up passengers to eat when they want. the food selection was meager and overpriced though. video system worked well, fortunately I found one good one, had all the trick play (replay, captions) so, ok, given meager selection. after 12 hour, people are tired, but few were visibly annoyed or crabby."
Queixes: "They didn't have place to put garbage on the airplane, we tried to stuff it in the bathroom once, we just left the rest in the empty seat next to us. Spanish airports don't have good queue management, only two boarding classes, makeshift line. People crowd the gate making it seem like they'r about to get on next confusing the people who actually are next."

The flight was super super delayed (as were several other Vueling flights) and we stood in the bag drop line for over 2 hours because there was no system and everyone was confused. Then when we finally got through they updated the flight status every 10 min confusing everyone cause the time kept changing and no one knew what was going on. Then they finally posted the gate and we had to run to the other side of the airport and then they delayed the flight again so it was over 3 1/2 hours delayed In the end. Then boarding was a mess and the plane itself was pitiful for how expensive that flight was. This is never going to be a company of choice for me. Definitely a last resort."

Queixes: "I was not able to check into the flight online as the Kayak link sent me to an unknown page. It was not an Iberia flight but was operated by Veuling airlines, however was still unable to check in by going directly to the Veuling website. If you're not going to be allowed to check in online, that is one, thing, but it isn't great to be given a link that doesn't work and then be nervous that you are not going to get on your flight. The boarding process should be changed as it is a free for all and people are waiting in line on the jetway, when really they are waiting for the buses. I believe the plane was at Terminal 2, so we had to switch terminals via bus. Just seemed as though there should be a better process for boarding than lining up down the middle of the terminal or manage the process differently as we were boarding buses."

Queixes: "As we were not allowed to board flight from Milan to Lourdes as I stated previous we never boarded this flight and after spending day in Milan airport with no assistance had to go to an other airport to find passage. It cost us another fare for 10 persons and no Ryanaire were un helpful. Would not fly again with Ryanare and would certainly not recommend them. None of the phone no we were given worked."
Queixes: "Worst experience. Multiple charges. Made it one of the most expensive trips. Terrible!"
Queixes: "I bought a coffee just minutes before boarding and was told I could not take it on board and had to drink it all immediately, scolding hot and everything. When I walked onto the plane, I found a fellow passenger peacefully sipping her airport-bought brew with no sign of reprimand from the Ryanair staff. I only ask that the rules be applied to everybody or not at all."

Queixes: "Absolutely everything. Worst airline I have ever flown on in my entire life. Would give 0 stars if that was a possible option. Had to pay $50 to check a bag and $50 because I didn't ha s my tickets printed out. Then my flight proceeded to be delayed for 8 hours and nobody made any effort to help us understand what was going on"

Avantatges: "Can't get any cheaper than that so I did not expect much. The check-in process was not bad, and going into the plane was surprisingly easy. Was expected to be treated as cattle, but was pleasently surprised to find otherwise."
Queixes: "I paid extra for priority boarding and, though I was one of the first 20 passengers on board, I was not allowed to put my bag in the overheard compartment. I was told to put both my purse (not a tiny one, mind you) and my carry on bag under the seat. And, because I had an isle seat, the space was smaller than average. So I had to fly cramped up. Because I'm not an EU citizen, I had to queue up as if to check in luggage to have a stamp placed on my boarding pass. Then another queue to board the plane because they don't bother to call by row or group number like most airlines. The boarding was chaotic. The seats are very uncomfortable. They don't even give you one small cup of water. You have to pay 3 euros for a bottle of water that would cost you 1 elsewhere. Finally, the landing was very hard and shook everyone about."

Queixes: "There was no priority boarding for families with small kids. And the lines were long to board."
Avantatges: "I sat in the front row and had plenty of leg room. A crew member kindly switched my middle seat for his window seat for which I was very grateful."
Queixes: "Ryanair did not offer any food or beverage for "free" (i.e., included in the price of our ticket). It was a huge hassle to get our boarding passes printed. We needed to do this in order to be spared a €50/person penalty which I think is outrageous. Boarding was a little intense."
Queixes: "Last time we flew Ryanair, we did not check-in ahead of time, so we had to pay 53 Euros at the airport. We learned our lesson, so for this flight we checked in ahead of time and had our boarding passes ready on our mobile devices. When we arrived at the airport, we were told we needed a printed ticked so they could stamp it that they had checked our passport. It would be 53 Euros for them to print the ticket. The lady at the ticket counter directed us to the business center to print, but the Ryanair website wasn't working. I eventually printed a poor quality screenshot and hoped for the best. The lady stamped when she checked my passport. Nobody ever checked the stamped ticket beyond that point. What a waste. Ryanair is cheap, of course I'll fly with them again the next time I'm in Europe. My advice to travelers is to do your research and know all the loop holes they use to make money off of you."

Avantatges: "Easy check in, even with a checked bag. Use the app for boarding pass. Paid the extra for priority boarding and checked bag and got our own bus to the plane. Otherwise it's no frills. No food to give any stars to. Bring your own entertainment and it's your fault if you don't like it."
Queixes: "It is tough if you bring carry ons. Most people do to avoid the extra charges. But priority boarding solves the problem."

Queixes: "on my trip from madrid to rome I was charged 30 Euros for a boarding pass although I had the ticket downloaded on my cell phone. I will dispute the charges through the bank . My return trip I had no problem with the downloaded tickets on my cell. Ryanair will be hearing from my bank in references to those charges"

Queixes: "We are done our pre-check online two days before the flight. When we arrived at the airport we were told that it had not been completed and sent to another office. There we had to pay a 45 euro penalty each The boarding took forever. And they were probably the most uncomfortable seats we've ever flown in. We like to save a dollar if possible, but will never fly Ryan air again. Life is too short."

Queixes: "Too much flight crew communication during night time: Rayan air time for souvenirs shops, coffee breaks... At night a little less break ins will be fine. I know it´s a company policy but if you don't do check in first, I think 45€ its a little bit expensive. :)"
Avantatges: "The tickets are very cheap. That's the only good thing I can say about them. You have to check in online prior to boarding. While this may seem easy enough, their system is easily bogged down. Interesting that the portion of their system for purchasing baggage check in works like a charm. But over half an hour later the loading for the final boarding passes took forever and never finished. Shouldn't be a problem but this airline counts on it. After a long wait with a long line and 2 attendants we finally get to the front where the woman exhorts more money in a penalty from us than the entire round trip tickets cost. Additionally this means standing in another long line full of people also being extorted while we run the risk of missing our flight, though we arrived 3 hours before. Didn't have the heart to stand the line up arguing how it was wrong as that would definitely have made someone behind us miss their flight. They very nonchalantly inform you that if you don't pay you don't board though the problem is theirs."
Queixes: "We had a delayed of more than 6 hours, and they didnt give us in the airport any cupon or something to get some food!!!! More over, they had not report us the reason of the delayed till we were on the plane."
Queixes: "We purchased a luggage allowance of 15 kilos. As it turned out the exact same bag with the exact same contents fell within this limit coming from Madrid to Arrecife but not from Arrecife to Madrid. The person that checked our bag had absolutely no flexibility. We had to pay a fee for the 1 kilo overage. Later we purchased coffee before getting on the flight only to be informed we could not have hot beverages while boarding, something that has NEVER happened to me. The money you save on a Ryanair flight is not worth the absolute hassle they put you through, especially considering that you're liable to pay the difference in fees anyway."
Queixes: "My flight was delayed more than six hours and they never offer me an alternative solution and I lost my connection flight. The worst experience ever."

Queixes: "My seatmate couldnt eat her stale sandwich, they call them "fresh" but actually they're frozen and de-thawed. The color scheme made it feel like we were on some kind of amusement park ride."
Avantatges: "Because Ryan air is a budget airline they have extremely strict restrictions regarding your boarding pass. One in the 21st century might think, ill download my pass online, or to my phone, or even a kiosk in the airport. Be aware few of these are actually feasible options for americans traveling within the EU and may cause you to miss your flight."
Queixes: "Buyer beware: you need to check-in online 2 hours before your flight otherwise (if you try to check-in at the airport, that way all other airlines work) you get slapped with a 45€ fee."
Queixes: "Cramped seats and did not recline."
Avantatges: "On time! That is the single most important factor for any flight! I am 2 m 3cm so I don´t expect comfort or entertainment. But I can still expect an on-time arrival!"
Queixes: "The boarding is chaotic, probably because the passengers are disobedient and don´t listen to instructions. Taking away our small roll aways at the gate."
Queixes: "never board on the time indicated on the ticket. boarding is chaotic; no groups, no organization! waited for the luggage for an hour."
Avantatges: "As expected for a low fare airline!"
Queixes: "Not from Ryanair, but Copenaghen Airport is a disaster! More than 1.5hrs to pass the security checkpoints and once you get there you realize that only 50% of the checkpoints were opened in peak season."
Queixes: "Check in cost was VERY expensive."
Avantatges: "As long as you are aware of a few things, flying on Ryan Air was great. You must check in a certain number of hours before your flight to aviod an additional check-in fee. I checked-in from the hotel computer the day before my flight. You should pre-pay for checked baggage and seat selection with priority boarding when you book the flight if you want those 2 items when flying on Ryan Air. If you dont want to pay for a checked bag, ensure you check the airline website to make sure your carry on bag meets the size requirements for carry on baggage. My flight was on time, they offered a selection of food and drinks for purchase during the flight. The staff was friendly. Everything was great."
