Al llegar a Madrid esperé por mis maletas al pie de la cinta casi una hora. Fue vergonzoso y todo por hacer el favor de que hubiera más espacio en cabina. Estuve a punto de poner una reclamación."

La aplicación no se puede usar si no la descargas previamente y eso había que haberlo sabido antes de embarcar para poder hacerlo con el wi-fi de la terminal. Uno está de vacaciones en USA y generalmente no tiene datos móviles. Tantas horas de vuelo sin nada que ver se hacen interminables."

Queixes: "One of the flight attendants, instead of waking us up gently to reposition our seats to the upright position to land decided to wake both my husband and I by abruptly reaching between us to get to the arm rest and do it herself. This was extremely rude and unprofessional."

Queixes: "Hubo un retraso de una hora y 45 minutos por fallo eléctrico. Asignación de asientos no aleatoria, que se pueda elegir donde te sientas. no tiene sentido que con el covid, te pongan al lado de un desconocido,pudiendo estar sentado junto a tu pareja."

Queixes: "Very high baggage and other fees that are not publicized. Web site just says checked bags start at 15 euro, actual price was over 50 euro."
Queixes: "The return flight was very turbulent, but mostly close to take off and landing."
Avantatges: "The only saving grace to this whole experience was the woman at the check in counter who was friendly and made small talk while checking our bags."
Queixes: "Honestly, I would consider myself well travelled but after this flight I wanted to rule out air travel from our future plans. The take off was bumpy, fast and uncomfortable. Handling the turbulence was unbearable and I had a full blown panic attack on the flight. I couldn't understand a word of the English announcements each time we hit turbulence. I felt unbearably sick but couldn't bring myself to get out of my seat. There was no food, no entertainment, and definitely no entertainment. I hope to never fly Volotea again."
Queixes: "the app is that that great, it gets stook. Also, they don't have any chance to change or re-schedule any flight."
Queixes: "To check a bag is about $75 if you do it at airport. We witnessed a number of people who had done carry on from Athens to Santorini not be able to do carry on back. It's a scam on the Island. The bin in which you have to fit your bag is smaller on Santorini."
Avantatges: "Boarding was like any other boarding, it went fine, but then we had to sit on runway for about 30 minutes or so. Not a huge deal. I keep myself busy on computer so flight went quickly."
Queixes: "Flight crew was not happy and they didn't even pretend to be. Seats were not comfortable at all and mine even had a huge tear in it so it just bugged my back side the entire flight. Food was not good at all! Salad smelled moldy. Oh yeah, and I ended up paying extra for my bags that were exactly the same as my husbands but he was not up charged. Between the c crew and the constant selling and up charges, I would rather pay more for a different company."
Avantatges: "Checking and boarding were easy. Also email reminders were helpful."
Queixes: "Could they spare a drink of water? They charged extra for everything, including the air you breathed."

Queixes: "When i read the baggage rate, its only 20 euro, when i got there its 40 euro the lady told me its cheaper on line cuz i was there 6 hours early. I didnt know that i have to buy the baggage ahead of time. It would be nice if its highlighted in red when i bought the tix. Also i had to pay extra 30 euro bec i didnt chk in on line, seriously? What is the point of having a chk un counter? Also i was told to come back 2 hours before my flight . As i said i was there 6 hours eatly, when i came back the chk in on line is already closed. Im sure its a common problem , a lot if ppl paid extra and were complaining, they could have told us or have a sign there. Dont u think 30 euro is a lot to pay for not chking in? Is it only in europe? Its better when we book that ppl shld be warn of the pronlem, i paid extra 210 euro bec there are 3 of us plus the internet there suck at the airport , if you get in on the internet in 2 mins you are out or cant get in gor hours"

Queixes: "I booked an afternoon flight on Volta. They changed me weeks later to a morning flight. I told them I wanted to cancel my earlier flight and preferred a refund instead. I have never received credit for my cancellation."
Avantatges: "It was a quick flight."
Queixes: "They took me and my wife's carry on, that we had already stored in the over head cabins on 3 flights before this one and told me it was to big. Then they made me pay 120 Euros and asked me to take the bag out to the plane. When I got to the plane the men working with the suitcases said my bag was more than capabale of fitting overhead and let me take it up. So they charged me 120 Euros extra for nothing and only did this once they saw my American Passport."
Queixes: "Worst airline I've ever experienced, avoid at all costs"
Queixes: "Missed our connection they did not accommodate at all Wanted to sell us another flight the next day My brother made the flight and him and his girlfriend had to pay 140 euros for carry on and boarding pass THEIR LOW PRICES ARE A SCAM BAIT SND SWITCH"

Queixes: "About 50 minutes late, hard landing, and worst of all they called us for boarding and we went out of the semi-comfortable terminal and STOOD in the HOT sun. Our plane hadn't even landed. We stood out there for 40 minutes. Voltea is even a worse version of Spirit Airlines"
Avantatges: "I cancelled the trip because in reading the fine print, I found the cost of checking a single small bag almost as much as the cost of the flight itself. Cancellation was accepted but took some effort to do it."
Avantatges: "Accepted phone scans of our boarding passes. Decent price Nice crew Left a little late but still managed to arrive 15 minutes early on a one hour flight."
Queixes: "I only gave one star for food but I didn't buy any food so I would rather have a "not applicable" category."
Avantatges: "Helpful and smiling staff , seats have good leg room , time of departure was accurate"

Queixes: "Unfriendly check in agent and having to pay for everything including being able to sit next to my husband makes it not worth their "affordable" fares. Note: print out your boarding card and check in prior to arriving to airport, otherwise it's an additional $40/pp."
Queixes: "Due to delays we missed our flight. I emailed and got no response. Tried calling. Office was closed on Saturday. Went to their desk and no one was there. I would like to be reimbursed. I had to then pay for two tickets on Aegean Airline totalling $400.00"
Avantatges: "Excellent price and route. Very friendly crew. I didn't need much for a 2hr flight. Met all my expectations."
Avantatges: "Flight was fine once we got going but one staff working made for a long long line and a half hour delay. Staff were excellent though."
Queixes: "Scheduled departure time was 4:00 p.m., but we did not leave until 11:00 p.m. due to a problem with the fuel level indicator. We were kept in the departure gate for 7 hours without a proper explanation in English. When they finally realized they could not repair the plane, they put everyone on another plane. We were given a voucher to use at the snack counter for 10 euros per person, but when we got to the counter there was no food or wine left. Imagine, running out of wine in France! I understand that mechanical issues on planes happen, but it was left far too long to attempt to repair it. A replacement plane should have been supplied after a one hour delay, not 7 hours."
Queixes: "Waited to board for 1 hour- no seat assignments- price to pay for checked baggage increases by the hour as your departure nears. The price for a checked bag was €42 at 10am and when I checked again at 11:30am, price was €55!"
Avantatges: "the plane were very old and we felt scared since there was turbulence and the plane showed an unsafe one..."
Queixes: "Check in started at 9:05 and boarding was at 9:25, we arrived at the airport (which has 1 gate) at 9:10. There was no one at the check in counter until we asked the security guard for help. At 9:30, the Volotea attendant came back and said we were late and missed boarding and it would cost another 180 euro to get on the plane!! Beware!!! -They have a 20 kg or 44 lb weight limit instead of 50 and will charge you an additional 60 euro per bag of over 44 lbs! -Print your own boarding passes, they charge 20 euro per passenger if they have to print it at check in. -There are fees all over the place, it is a SCAM!"

Queixes: "Flight was delayed 45 min without explanation."
Queixes: "The flight was 5 hours late and the company did not give us any information about when the flight would take off and what the problem was. They sent us a voucher for €10 for our next flight. No thanks."
Queixes: "The Volotea website was very poorly run and thus, we accidentally booked the flight on the wrong date, due to the way the calendar was loaded on the site. We entered the correct date, but somehow we still received flights for 5 days after the date we needed. We tried to change them at the airport, and after being sent to 2 different ticket counters, we ended up paying an additional $420 to get the flights we needed. Therefore, each flight from Athens to Mykonos was over $400 each. It was ridiculous and I will NEVER fly this airline again."
Avantatges: "Too short of a flight for food and entertainment! Smooth flight. No complaints"
Queixes: "The next flight they had to my destination was 3 DAYS later. Therefore, I had to purchase another three tickets with a different carrier and got NO credit for the missed fight with Volotea. BAD Business."
Avantatges: "Everything in the plane felt new, crew was friendly, efficient."
Avantatges: "We printed the boarding passes a week prior and we were ready to go! However Volotea emailed us 24 hours prior to tell us some information had changed and we had new boarding passes. We were worried that we had to pay extra as we were already traveling and could not print the new boarding passes. It was no problem! We downloaded the app and the crew just scanned the app boarding passes. It was a huge relief."
Avantatges: "The cabin crew don't know their job and don't care about security! They separate my husband and I from our children. They changed our seats, because they 2 people previous to us were too elder to seat at emergency exit. So we got stuck seating at emergency exit and away from our children! Who will put the emergency mask on my children now in case of emergency Volotea airline ?! Learn your job as flight attendant!"
Avantatges: "Errrm...that we actually got to Palermo alive, that was nice."
Queixes: "Kind of sneaky with the hand luggage, you may well have the guidelines in small print somewhere, but you really should allow people to check their bags in online before the flight, as opposed to paying 80 euro per bag, so 160 euros for two bags that didn't even weigh 10kgs each. RyanAir would have been able to fly us the same trip for that alone, with bags! Then when we were boarding, both of our seats were taken - the flight attendant said "Welcome to Italy". So, that's our story. In a nutshell, overpriced, and didn't get the seats on our boarding passes..."

Queixes: "attendant in the check in was horrible. not nice, rood, when we tried to ask questions at the end told us "bye" and called next. prices are high for luggage check in, the standard size of the hand luggage is very small and not fair. plain was very very old. overall, bad experience."

Queixes: "We were stuck in the security check and immigration but got to the gate 15 minutes before the flight. As we were arriving at the gate, we saw the last bus leave taking passengers to the aircraft. The lady at the counter kept yelling at us for the next 15 minutes and kept saying we were late and the last bus had left. We were 9 passengers all together and it would have been a lot easier if she would have called the driver to pick us up. After realizing we had small kids, she finally called someone after 15 minutes but that was too late. We missed our flight. There was no supervisor to talk to and no where to file complaints."

Queixes: "My luggage was lost and still has not been located. The bag tag number was entered incorrectly numerous times with different agents over the phone as well as at the airport."
Avantatges: "The flight was so smooth I forgot I was on a plane. Great landing, too."
Queixes: "We arrived at the airport two hours before the flight and were told we had to pay 30 euro/person (120 euro total) for boarding passes. Really?!? We had been checked in, but hadn't printed the boarding passes. They told us that they had just closed the opportunity to do this for free at the airport & we now had to pay the exorbitant fee or no boarding passes and no getting on the plane. No other way around it. It just felt like yet another ridiculous excuse to suck more money out of passengers. Just like the banks...a fee here, a free there will add to the profit bottom line without providing any additional value for the customer. Buyer beware!"
Avantatges: "Nothing much."
Queixes: "Left us standing for a huge time in front of customs and arrived late to boarding gate. Ridiculous.y small measurement boxes for carry on luggage which would not hold standard carry on bags. This dispute the plane having full sized overhead bins that easily accommodated the bags. Forced us to pay $60 a bag under the pretext that the bags would have to be ch caked. But they didn't, we just carried them on and there was plenty of room. They were rude and unreasonable and let lots of people through without the charges after they simply removed items from their bags and carried them a few feet before putting them back. It was just a shake down."

However, this was never the intention, I had planned to take my small bag with me but last minute Vueling offered to check it in for free, since the flight was full. I should have never agreed."

Queixes: "Flat out the worst flying experience I've ever had. The bag checkin processes was a nightmare; I showed up super early to the airport, with more than enough time to check my bag and board without issue. The bag checkin line didn't move for over an hour, and while there were still tons of people waiting to check their bags for flights that were soon departing, most of the counter employees packed up and left. When someone pointed out that we would miss our flights, the attendants said "my shift is over" and walked away. At this point, the line broke and passengers started to cut the line, two people nearly got into a fight, airport security even had to come. My bag was finally checked five minutes before the flight left (!!!!!). I was unsure if I'd make the flight, or if my bag would make it on the aircraft. The worst part is that throughout their incompetent checkin processes, the attendants were all incredibly rude. I am NEVER flying this airline again, even if I have to pay twice as much for my ticket."

Queixes: "Remote standing boarding by bus in Barcelona. Food was overpriced."
Queixes: "They lied to us that the connection flight from Barcelona to Tel Aviv was canceled and therefore we must stay at Granada. They also said they could not fly us to Barcelona because all the hotels there were full occupancy (sounds absurd). Only after we insisted on flying to Barcelona we discovered that the flight to Tel Aviv took place as usual. To this day, I do not know why an airline needs to lie in such an ugly way. Note that this was not a misunderstanding or language difficulties. The English of the airline team and mine is excellent. This behavior is dismissive, irresponsible, and embarrassing"

Queixes: "I wanted to book with British Airlines only to find out it was booked with a low end poorly rated airline I cancelled the flight I bought trip insurance but BA will not get back to me about a refund. Was on the phone many times waiting for very long time only to get disconnected and left on hold Now but rate BA low low low"
Queixes: "I was ripped off! I booked a flight for 3 passengers and paid. An email came through requiring I add additional information for my two companions within 48 hours or their flight would be cancelled and NO refund. I have the app and requested text notification, whereby nothing came through. The flights were cx and I had to book 2 new ones or fly alone. When calling to dispute, I could only email. The phone number was not international. The email rely denied a refund. I requested to escalate the dispute but Wasnt ever connected to that individual. In Paris, I attempted to reach the claims dept and was told to email them or call customer service but don't speak Spanish so got no where. Out 267$."
