Mi habitación era bastante grande para los estándares ingleses, con un cuarto de baño muy agradable y muy cómoda cama. Un excelente desayuno con una buena selección de platos calientes cocinados y estaba disponible y está incluido en el precio de la habitación.

Avantatges: I have stayed at Hotel Russell now a number of times, both as a single traveler in a single room, a twin room with my mother, and a double room with my husband. All rooms were comfortable and spacious enough for our needs and comfort. Breakfasts are very good quality too! Staff polite and helpful and location brilliant.

Desavantatges: Aunque pagué por mi habitación por adelantado, la recepcionista insistía en venderme el desayuno, que no quería, y en poner a 50 libras por día como depósito en mi tarjeta de crédito, aunque dije que no usaría ninguno de los restaurantes del hotel.
Fue difícil entrar a la habitación porque un armario grande había sido situado directamente junto a la puerta, casi bloqueando la entrada y salida de la habitación.

Desavantatges: The staff at Hotel Russell did not measure up to the overall customer service I experienced in England as a whole. They are less than accommodating to guests who booked through discount websites and treat guests who booked directly with them better. The interior is very dated and needs renovation. My friends room on the first night had a very strong cleaning chemical odor. It was unbearable for them because they have some sensitivities. The hotel was unable to move them to another room and we ended up switching rooms with them. The wifi at this hotel is spotty at best. I would not refuse to stay at this hotel again but I would probably avoid it.

Desavantatges: The room was a little old and had some cracks in the wall joints. They didn't have any pull in area if you arrive by car. We weren't aware of this from the descriptions and had to drive around the area to find a parking garage and then roll our luggage a few blocks to the hotel.

Avantatges: Only stayed one night to catch the train to Heathrow the next day. Great location in proximity to Kings Cross St Pancras. Trendy lobby with DJ playing on Friday night, not too loud though. Beds were great, showers were nice, all modern decor. Morning breakfast buffet in the restaurant is great. Overall it's a nice clean place to stay for a night or two. I'd be back.

Avantatges: The Pullman St Pancras had nice, high-end finishes in the bathroom and the bedroom, as well as in the lobby. People have complained about the wifi, but we actually had a pretty good experience with it; we were able to make a call using their wifi. All in all, a pretty comfortable experience.

Desavantatges: This is in a pretty noisy part of London (Euston Rd), which means that there are a lot of pubs (which can get rowdy), cars honking horns, ambulance and police sirens, etc.; even though we were on the 12th floor, the noise from outside woke me up often during the night.
Also, the bathroom door does not shut tightly; it leaves a gap between the leaves of the door, so any noises (etc.) from inside the bathroom are audible to your significant other in the rest of the room! Not particularly romantic!
And the thermostat was difficult to program; quite a few times, it would show 22 degrees C and be programmed for 18, but would still put out warm air, which makes no sense.

Desavantatges: The first room we were allocated had a pungent smell which meant we simply couldn't stay in it. We were then moved next door, only to find that once the window had been closed the same smell built up in the room. We only discovered this after an evening in the bar with our son, so were eventually moved at 11.30pm to an upgraded room. All a bit inconvenient, but the problem was well handled by staff and we eventually got a comfortable night's sleep.

I was given a reduction on my tab because of the inconvenience due to the fire alarms.
Desavantatges: The fire alarms went off ~5 times over the 5 days we were there. The 1st night at midnight, the 3rd night at 8 PM, 1 AM, and again at 4 AM. It was a nightmare....

Desavantatges: I can't really think of anything at all. There was no fridge and my husband mistook the minibar so we were charged, but the front desk took off all the chargers.

Desavantatges: Very poor value for the money. The room was quite cramped, awkward layout, and noisy (even though the front desk said it was the quiet side of the hotel). Seating in the room and throughout the hotel common area is old and uncomfortable. I won't go back.

Desavantatges: Air conditioning did not work properly and it was too warm in room at night. The hardest bed I have ever slept on! We had to take the comforter and place if under the thin mattress cover for any cushioning at all. Truly just a hard set of box springs with a cover, no mattress at all.

Desavantatges: For a weekend getaway this place was quite the obstacle course to conquer with the staff not expressing any concern or compensation for our feedback.
1. We could feel the coils through the matters and the was unable to get a decent nights sleep.
2. The shower kept oscillating between cold and scalding hot every 10 seconds which made that experience dangerous and unpleasant.
3. The room was a squeeze. I hit my head on the bedside table in my sleep as we were given their tiniest room. How ever the bathroom was almost the same size of the room so maybe this was meant to be the disabled persons room.
4. The giant bathroom is installed with a window skylight which shines through the glass door of bathroom and lights up the room by 5 am.

Avantatges: The hostel was very clean. The bathrooms were cleaned every few hours. There was a nice mix of travelers,young and old,people travelling in groups and lone travelers. There were also young families and babies. Lots of people ,lots of activity.
At night ,there was added security in the building.
I was very happy with the Generator Hostel.

Avantatges: The atmosphere was amazing, the common areas were decorated impeccably, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the ground floor had enough chill out/get rowdy/eat food areas that a) you could always find a space suitable for your mood, and b) the rooms stayed quiet and peaceful. Also, the number of outlets was astounding, and the WiFi excellent, even though my room was on the fifth floor.

Desavantatges: There were still trash in the restroom from the previous lodgers, not to mention there were used feminine products that were in the bin that smelled like something died in there. The lights on the walls were falling apart from the wall. The bathroom was the worst, small space, toliet that barely flushed, and the showers were old. Overall, I would give one star, only cause I have to.

Its about a ten to 15 minute walk away, ehich for most people will be ok. Easy walk to get there. (I guess for those with mobility issues this may be a slight issue - if you have problems you may want to choose another one right next to Kings Cross.)
Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant clean. The downstairs customer toilets are in the basement and severely aged, weirdly there were flies everywhere there too but you only need to use those toilets if you haven't checked in yet and desperately need the loo, so not too much an issue.
The rooms are dated, this is an old hotel that has not been updated, artex walls and wooden desks but nothing wrong with that. My room, 230 was clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice. All rooms here have a bath and a showerhead too. Clean towels. It was all old fashioned looking but not worn out.
Lovely square behind the hotel with a playground and basketball court if you wish to relax.
Cheap value stay with basic conveniences but it is not the most peaceful for sleeping at all.

Desavantatges: The room was hot because you are entirely unable to open the windows, an old plastic alarmed cable limits the opening of them so you could not even open them a crack for fresh air. At least it did in my room. All hotel room windows are normally alarmed but these were ridiculously restricted.
The plug sockets were also on the opposite end of tge room to thge bed. A fan was provided but was not very effective due to not being able to stretch it far enough to reach the bed.
The worst problem as you may expect was traffic noise. This severely ruined my stay. The back of the hotel i noticed however, backs on to a lovely square called Granville Square. This was a peaceful haven, and the back rooms benefitted from this. Ask for a back room and try to check in early if possible, however there are a limited number of back ones.
Also, luggage is only stored in the back office. You may struggle if you arrive after 1 to store your luggage there because there isnbt much room

En una bolsa con un desayuno para llevar para mí el día que me tenía que salir antes de que el buffet abierto para coger el tren
A una corta distancia a pie de las estaciones de tren Euston y St. Pancras.
Estupendo restaurante africano cerca
Desavantatges: Al estar en la planta baja, dejar las persianas de la ventana abierta podría ser un poco raro.

Avantatges: The staff were very pleasent and efficient, rooms were OK for London
Desavantatges: Unfortuantley the hotel is undergoing renovation at present although there were no sounds of this you could see it, the rooms were tired and needed painting and renovation, the reception was very old fashioned and basic. The breakfast was basic and the breakfast room was functional but I hope that once its all finished it will look and feel a different place.

Desavantatges: the shared room are incredibly small to the point that you cant move around the room. The showers don't work. I changed to a private room and my shower wouldn't work either. Honestly, it was terribly expensive for the place it was

Avantatges: Late night front desk clerk went out of his way to assist me. My room was a bit cold so he brought me a small electric heater. My bed was comfortable and room was clean. They had a working elevator which was great since I had a lot of luggage.

Desavantatges: It would have been nice to have a bathtub instead of just a shower. Room was a bit on the small side but just right for a solo traveler.

Desavantatges: Avoid the breakfast at all cost! It's not worth it at all: bad coffee, terrible toast, lack of any pastry, and you have to pay extra for scramble eggs.
The location is not good neither to take the tube.

Desavantatges: First room had extensive mold in bathroom. Bed linen was old and worn, hallways smelled of dampness. I have pixs which night manager was not interested in seeing and was VERY RUDE! No living person should have been put there!! Next room was ok. Breakfast was very limited and crowded and noisy. U had to pay extra £5 for eggs and bacon, usually cold.
We were told hotel chain was biggest in Europe and I’ll add WORSE in Europe. Will never book hotel on internet again because I had no recourse to get my money back!!! I will only call hotel directly and pay AFTER my stay , so if I’m not happy I can go elsewhere.
PS, hotel dining room resembled “Grade school cafeteria, hall pass was issued that you had to show to get in”

Desavantatges: The pictures in this posting are fake the room was small and dirty there was a hole in the floor they don’t clean the rooms you can’t keep your key when you leave the hotel during your stay and you have to put a deposit for it and the tv in the room dose not have a remote unless you pay a deposit for it as well I didn’t think my bags were safe there when I went out and check out is 10am
